Popular Post Davy Vandenbroucke 26,645
Rangers Football Club are delighted to confirm the opening of a new Sports Bar, G51, at Ibrox in early 2024. Subject to local authority approvals, G51 will open in early 2024 – located at the former Rangers Store location. The move is part of a club drive to improve the fan experience on match days but also an intention to ensure that Ibrox becomes a destination to enjoy on a non-match-day. Renovation works will soon begin on the state-of-the-art sports bar, which will include a gaming zone, self ordering units, arcade games and Glasgow’s first self pour beer stations. Up to 500 supporters will be catered for at G51 on a match day, with the bar fully operational five days per week. Guests will be able to enjoy the atmosphere before and after kick off times but also take in a variety of live sporting events over the year at the new facility. Josh Hollywood, Head of Corporate said, “G51 Sports Bar will be another area on matchdays and non-matchdays supporters can come and have a positive experience. The indicative capacity will be around 500 in total and, when you add to that Blue Sky Lounge with 300, and Edmiston House with 1,000, we’re creating a vast number of additional areas in and around Ibrox for supporters to enhance their match day experience. We remain committed to continually invest in infrastructure and facilities Ibrox Stadium and look forward to welcoming supporters to our new sports bar, G51, early next year.” Amokachi, McEwan's Lager, graeme_4 and 6 others

superallysbears 7,987
Definitely been a change in thinking around the place lately and it's all things that make sense, I know in the recent past they might not had the same money to kick these projects off so it can only benefit our club in the long run, I hope these new savvy business ideas continue and more capacity at the stadium would be the cherry on top. scottyscott1963, Paisley Blue Loyal, the cry was no and 1 other
