Popular Post RangersMedia 35,961
Where the fuck are they in all of this shitshow? Radio silence. They let a rookie manager manoeuvre his way into the job then let him operate unchecked. Creag Robertson was quietly promoted to Director of Football Operations and Steven Davis explicitly said that Creag and Bisgrove contacted him. Why the fuck has Robertson been promoted to that role and why does that role involve speaking to prospective managers? Another fucking mediocre nobody. The UB should be directing their ire at the board not solely at the players - but I suspect they won’t because they won’t want to upset the progress towards a singing section behind the goals / safe standing. esquire8 43,636
They ain't saying shit. They want to keep quiet in the background while the whole thing burns in front of them. That last internal promotion looks like a joke for a club our size. Blueshoff and HG5

Think that’s shit tbf, they’ve had plenty goes at the board despite trying for safe standing/better move. They had protests last year and got the change that most people were shouting for. Hopefully Sunday sees a change and both the players and board are called out for 90 though.

Popular Post DrLaudrup 4,838
I think we can say in hindsight David Murray did not end well for us...but if you look at his personality, he absolutely did not want to lose at any cost. He always wanted to be ahead of them, if they spent he would spend more (yes I know....), he always wanted to undermine them in any way psychologically (think what signing Johnstone did to them), he wanted to fight the SFA on out behalf....The softness at our club now and tolerance of average standards starts at the board. We have spent too much time bridge building and not enough time trying to become totally dominant in all respects. Too much low level bickering between low level businessmen when they should be working to attract serious international money into the club. They need to very closely scrutinise their own performance. Board members have put their money in which is fair, but thousands of fans have too and the mood is turning as ongoing poor decisions and lack of serious investment. SkylineBlue 24,327
Maybe the fan groups could come together and organise action that will unify the wider support against what's going on at the club. Something has to be done. The team on the park is absolutely chronic, but it runs much deeper than that. We're a mess at every level.

Worlds_Most_Successful_Team 70
Ffs greeting about the board getting a rookie manager in who knows the club and the overwhelming majority were excited about returning. A manager they backed. Didn't work out, happens. Hopefully the next one is better and not just a lesser manager they want to get in quick. Swings and roundabouts, we'll be back. Hearing shite about the scouting network being more data and analytic driven every couple years pisses me off more than the backing a manager the fans wanted, who didn't work out. Craig/ 393
Everytime there’s a change in the boardroom you hear about transparency with fans and creating a open dialogue. In reality it’s always a load of shit and buzz words to appease fans in the moment and is quickly forgotten about once they are settled in. Murray was hamstrung around say 2010... So that's cracking on for 15 years we've been rudderless. Possibly Dave King was OK for a bit, but I'm not counting him. How much longer can we go on like this? We badly need someone to come in and help us now. If we're still being run like this in say 5 years time, could we be getting to the point we're really starting to struggle again? The fans loyalty has been unwavering throughout. But there's maybe the first signs of people getting fed up now. The board cannot rely upon the goodwill of them support indefinitely. RealWorldRich 799
The boards performance since 55 has been a spectacular failure. Employing GvB and his atrocious backroom team killed a league winning side. Who remembers that old duffer Roy Mackaay state on day 1 "tricks are for the circus". Is it any wonder Ryan Kent regressed into the shell of a player he was? The selling and recruiting model has imo gone to pot. Look at the cracking young players they've allowed to leave- Tommy Gilmour, Nathan Patterson, Calvin Bassey, Joe Aribo. Were these boys ever properly replaced? No, instead we've been told to make do with the old cart horses like Barisic. Ryan fucking Jack. The regression they've overseen has been a dereliction of duty. Employing Michael Beale simply compounded all of the above. At a point when it was important to get it right now more than ever, they thought "let's go get out old assistant manager who now has the experience of 20 games in the English Championship". Their decision making on footballing matters had been catastrophic. Bad Robot

ready1873 3,902
How we've managed to get in this clusterfuck of a mess so early in the season, after initial optimism among most, shows there is yet again severe issues from the very top right through. They probably thought sacking Beale and bringing out a new hideous shirt was enough to keep as happy for the foreseeable as their probably talking to Lampard and McInnes.
