We already have 4 senior CBs in the squad and quality wise aren't the worst out of the positions in the team either. We are both far weaker and far lighter in other positions. Priority will easily be a forward, be that a striker if Roofe is finished or more likely a winger. I have the funny feeling that PC is not going to bring in someone who he thinks will be substandard just to fill a gap but will search and wait on the right type of players. You are either looking at the dregs or overpaying because teams don’t want to sell their best players during the season. Unless we can offload at least one of them then I can’t see a centre half coming in. Absolutely love him saying there shouldn't be "extra" motivation for the semi final, the players should be motivated for every game and good things like silverware will follow.
