I was on a flight from Melbourne to Sydney in Oz....watching it on inflight WiFi.  I screamed a yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaas when the third went in and scared the rows around me.  Was a brilliant moment, best since the Europa Semi a few years ago.

How wrong was I?  That was easily one of the best away European performances I've ever seen from Rangers, and with a shite, injury ravaged side. Outfuckingstanding all over the pitch and a thoroughly deserved victory on Spanish soil. Fucking tremendous night.

When history looks back it will say .First win against a Spanish team in Spain .But that won’t tell the whole story.So many players out with 2 guys starting that most fans wouldn’t want on the B teams bench a few weeks ago .We have been really spoiled in Europe in the last few years(apart from last year) But this is easily the best ,Even better than Dortmund .

Circumstances,Big final at weekend ,Already guaranteed Conference League,Threadbare squad it was easy to go into the game not too fussed ,When the first goal went in that all changed 😂

I posted before the game that I basically expected nothing, in fact all I wanted was not to get a thumping.  Even said we could only hope Limassol got a draw.   Then Rangers unbelievably put on one of our greatest ever European away performances with a patchwork team due to so many injuries..   What a fantastic result from players who really turned up in Seville.   Taking the lead 3 times was incredible and holding out to win against a Spanish team in Europe was beyond all our wildest dreams.   So proud and still buzzing just now.   Doubt I'll sleep much.

I am halfway round the world and got woke up at 5AM with my big mate going tonto down the phone, great result Rangers, on to Sunday.

I get in the house at 2;30 after a 24hr journey home to get up at 8;30 to go watch us lift a cup.

Really didn't see us getting anything lastnight however we shouldn't be surprised as we have one of the best records going around in Europe over the last few years.

Had written that game off after the Limassol result, thought we'd blown it and resigned to the Conference.  Shitting it for injuries ahead of Sunday too.  Incredible result considering that squad at the moment.

After they equalised to 1-1 and with the pressure in the next few mins i thought they would destroy us. Then one Cyriel Dessers did his best play since joining Rangers and with 2-1 up i felt we can get something out of it. Was worried until the end but the boys kept fighting and never gave up. A very solid Rangers side under a lot of pressure. Few thousand happy faces in the away end and some 50 000 grumpy ones on their way home  What a fantastic night.
