Their forward keeps himself by and large out of the game, doesn't really get many touches in build up play or physical challenges. Then looks for the fast movement to get space and a chance at goal. (Quite clinical too.) Our system doesn't allow for that and tbh other than Defoe we haven't had many intelligent enough to play that way in many years. As a support, I'm not sure we'd tolerate it either. Neither player is physical but one is a success because he's very good at what he does in the system he does it in, the other simply isn't. Swagger 8,271
We’ve got to get as many of this squad off our hands as possible. Don’t even entertain the thought of keeping him - great he’s doing well might get our money back Jack, Roofe,Barasic and Lammers already a big saving in wages. plymouthranger
plymouthranger 3,909
Dutch league is absolutely shite standard barring the top 3. Better technically than our league but sides seem incapable of defending
Loyal72 11,794
If we get decent money out of Lammers to put back in, that's a big fucking win imo.
Prso's headband 35,779
Will never forget his bewildered look on his face as the whole ground booed the substitutions in the first old firm of the season. Looked genuinely terrified to come on to the park and at that point he was finished here for me
KeyserSoze 14,654
Imagine slating the Eredivisie as a reason Lammers is doing well, scoring in 7 on the trot (8 goals in total) player of the month and playing in a position we never played him in despite him playing the majority of his career as a CF. The top 5 in that league we’d struggle against just now PSV, Feyenoord, Twente, Alkmaar and Ajax. id have him back because he’s better than most of our dross. our league is absolutely no better than the Eredivisie. five stars 1,710 Posted Sunday at 15:15 Share Posted Sunday at 15:15 He obviously had talent as his goal at Dens park showed. But overall he wasn't anywhere near effective enough for us. Hopefully, his performances on loan will mean we get our money back. graeme_4

demise 3,567 Posted Sunday at 17:51 Share Posted Sunday at 17:51 10 goals for 4 months of football in Eredivisie is not bad. Hoping someone buys him for 3m or so. VanVeenRangers and plymouthranger
MacBoyd 5,580 Posted Sunday at 18:11 Share Posted Sunday at 18:11 It's becoming impressive. We should sell...but we have a guy who's scored 10 in 4 months in Holland should we be playing him?
