allgers 735
You are forgetting Stevie Smith. With MacLeod out its the perfect opportunity to give Stevie a run out. Think Stevie would tend to fall back and cover the left back position allowing Wallace to assume a more attacking role, might not be a bad thing, if it worked out that way. Bluepeter9 5,167
Can't argue with that, I'm sure our tactics are designed to draw the teams out, but if we played with a bit more tempo when we have the ball and put pressure on the opponent when they have the ball the fans would be a lot happier, it's simple.I know its simple - but its also not the ONLY tactic Ally can employ - last week we had folk booing whenever we tried to keep possession for more than a few passes - plenty on here want us to play a possession game and yet at the same time screaming to get the ball up quickly.I also think we press a lot higher up the park than some give us credit for. (But then again if you only followed on here you would think all we employ is the long ball - and thats nonsense).

SeparateEntityMyArse 53,802
The thing is, see if you press these wee teams from the beginning. I'm talking straight from the whistle, our players have superior fitness and so they should with the facilities available to them. It's only a matter of time before the opposition will weaken due to tiredness and that's when we go in for the kill. Everytime they have the ball we should be literally right up their arse, chasing down everything. Closing every gap. Not giving them a sniff of anything. It's what Barcelona have done so well for the last 5 or 6 years.Would suggest NOT being LITERALLY right up their arse.

Loyal and Blue 19
I'd like us to give the 4-1-3-2 formation a go, especially at home. BellFosterFaureMohsniWallaceBlackAirdLawTempletonDalyLittleAs many have said, we need to pick up the pace when passing and close down the opposition more. Allanger 625
We are due a good performance and tomorrow is as good a time as any. The weather forecast is poor but if the conditions are not too bad I reckon we will win this one comfortably and with a few goals to spare. 4-1 the Gers and an improved performance. TravelingWilBEARy 4,319
We have a game this Saturday at 3pm v Brechin City, and I expect to see Lee Wallace in his usual LB position. Our last game against Brechin saw us escape with a 4-3 victory, can't see that happening tomorrow. Another quality video, inspired.BellFaure,Jig, Mohsni, Wallace.Aird, Law, Templeton.Shiels.Little, Daly.Macleod is unavailable.3 nil to the Gers, Little, Daly and Shiels. That vid kind of makes a mockery of those who are insistent that Daly is immobile and that McCoist can't change a game. hammer time 653
Templeton must start, in place of Shiels i imagine although going by the last game anyone of the midfield or forward(s) could have been dropped, 4-0 to the Gers
