When I first heard Gerrards name mentioned for the job I thought ffs swapping one youth coach for another.

Hands up I was totally wrong and he has turned the place on its head ditching the duds and rapidly getting a good team together with signings if not quite out the top drawer not far off it.

You and me both ?

Fucking love Stevie G, just get us 55 and he will be a legend for evermore.

I would hate to put a jinx on it but I think this is our Liverpool Shankly moment, everything he says and does and the way the team plays just shows you he knows what the fuck this game is about and he is going to knock it out of the park.

"As I arrived, he welcomed me and told me to be ready to make my debut this weekend.

If Kenny Miller had leaked the team like this we’d all be hounding him, poor start to his career making comments like that.

Ive not felt this excited about a a manger since Walter and I'm sure I heard a story about Walter actually going to Gazzas house in Italy to convince him to come to us. Hopefully Gerrard will bring us the same success!

Mind you, I can remember a certain diddy manager trailing to Portugal to personally escort Cardoso to Scotland so it’s no guarantee that things will work out OK!

But there’s a confidence, a swagger which is just the right side of the line from being too cocky, oozing from Gerrard and it is infectious.

The meltdown across the city is already starting IMO (big signing is the return of a 32 year old left back they parped a year ago FFS) and that banner at the Glitterdome tells you they’re feeling it.

Gerrard can bring great talent n o questions. But Rangers itself without Gerrard should be able to bring players here due to the sheer size of our club

I get your point mate but with the likes of McCoist or Murty we don't carry the same allure, this guy is a differ class entirely.

Yes he did. Just like Walter, I am liking these personal touches. It is certainly helping get deals over the line.
