For me to get consistency out of a striker he needs a consistent run in the team. Being in and out is not going to do even the best striker in the world any good. I haven't seen enough that convinces me he would be able to hold down a starting place, but to judge him properly he'd need a run of 4/5 games on the bounce to see what's really on offer. Again he only came in for 2 at the most games in a row where ideally any player would need a bit more than that to settle. I'm in agreement with you that he might not or isn't good enough but he's never been given a consistent run to gain any consistency. The Blues 375 Posted November 18, 2021 Share Posted November 18, 2021 Itten got one game this season….Malmö away ….after he had a good pre season and had scored goals. last season he was mostly given the odd 10 and 15 minutes at the end of games apart from start of season when played with Roofe where we had good results. Now he is playing and scoring for one of the best International teams in Europe. Switzerland could do well in WC and his valuation will shoot up. Let’s get him back in Jan.
