Gio Discussion Thread

Getting a new manager in over the World Cup break was the best chance of clawing back the title. The board are just hoping that it’s a blip and he’ll turn it around but he’s lost the vast majority of the fans so it’s not going to be turned around.

You get a manager to work with the squad without competitive games a month and a half before the window opens….it’s ideal. Instead Gio will continue this drivel until we drop further points while that lot keep winning, the old firms then become deadwood as we’ve chucked the title from dropped points in the other games.

+3, clean sheet, Gio marches on

You live the game through the eyes of stats mate.

Next thing you will be saying Kent was rubbish because he wasn't on the stat sheet for the goal even though he was the most instrumental for the goal.

First half was the usual slow insipid play with little or know end product. Second half was better with more effort from all and at times some good passages of play. The improvement from first to second half would suggest that the players are still playing for him. Three points on  Saturday, will see the status quo remain until after the world cup and probably beyond.

Expected the atmosphere to be poison tonight. Instead it was total apathy. No chance he is going anywhere soon. The fan base is allowing him to stay.

If Hearts had scored that chance at 0-0 early on it could have turned nasty. Halliday had a great chance as well. Only a matter of time before we drop points again as every single game is a struggle under this management.

I’ve already said he had a good second half.

Can’t believe that performance keeps him in the job until January. Brutal.

The very definition of delaying the inevitable.

He needs 3 more points at the weekend.

If he drops points against St Mirren that's got to be it for him.

Saying that I thought St Johnstone would be the end.

Wherever people like it or not he’s gonna be here until the end of the season at least. So since he’s gonna be here the board need to give him the backing in the transfer window he wasn’t given in the summer.

Nothing changes after tonight - A defeat/more dropped points or a loss on the 2nd January and he’s gone.

Offered next to nothing the first 45mins as a team…

Way to many players no where near good enough, even allowing for the 12 injured guys - They won’t all enhance it either when fit

Over-relaying on 2 guys who want to leave…

That's the spirit. Let's hate the team to death. Fucking pair of clowns.

Was a really frustrated crowd and there were plenty boo’s at halftime.
