The Ibrox Derry 9,226
The level of mismanagement at the club since we won 55 has been nothing short of abysmal. We are in the exact same position as celtic were last season. It's total role reversal. I think many at Ibrox thought that we had done it, stopped 10iar and put the feet up and smoke cigars. Would be interesting to know if Wilson and Gerrard were one of the cigar smokers, or did they come up against the board and fight for the investment. If that was the case I can totally understand why he left. Like any business you've got to build on success. The ambition of the Manager has got to be equalled in the boardroom. I can see this being another Patterson scenario and he will hardly play for us, thing is is his deal not running out soon and he's stalling on a new deal? Might not even be able to cash in like Patterson

DiamondDan 2,386
We thought Morelos was leaving a few seasons ago and lined up his replacements- Roofe and Itten! (£8million spent on them). Would you trust the person who sanctioned that with future transfers? HG5

CoplandRoad83 3,613
A DoF should be a facilitative role in terms of signings, he shoudlnt define who we get. The most important person at the club is the manager.

He scored 36 in 63 for st gallen and 18 in 50 for Basel, but for us he has 7 in 47 (but most are sub appearances and always as a lone striker or sometimes wide right if I remember correctly). Should never have been signed on the basis that he didn’t suit our system and our manager when he signed never diverted from the system KeyserSoze

The Ibrox Derry 9,226
At the time Gerrard left I fancied Lampard for the job, but wasn't too displeased with GvB, and we got that new manager bounce for a few games. In hindsight, i don't think Lampard would have been much better than GvB, as he looks Like a lost rabbit caught in the headlights at Everton. We have many ex-players working as agents who could do this on a deal by deal basis and pay them for each contract they negotiate. We don’t need a full time DOF.
