Think he's not in as good a condition as he was for that 4-5 month spell last year and that's probably the main reason why he's not looking good enough.

If he gets back to that he could still play a role next year.

Not having a go at you here but this really frustrates me. We have far too many ifs buts and maybes. Been hearing it about Kent’s numbers for ages and other players being able to do a job if they can do this or do that. He’s simply not the required standard and needs to be moved on. Likewise for too many of this current squad.

We need to stop trying to apologise for players who consistently underperform. Having a good game occasionally, or hoping someone might turn up should not cut it at our club. That applies to Lundstram, but could apply to Kent and many others in this team. If players can't maintain a level of consistency and end product they should be moved on. From someone that started supporting us as a boy just before Souness came in, it is just unforgivable how we accept this mediocrity we are served. Souness binned guys like Butcher after a few bad games, dropped McCoist....Walter transfer listed the Goalie. Brave decisions by people who understood standards and man management.  We have had players not delivering for seasons but they get away with it and are still picked. They should be sold and replaced. Players need to understand what is needed at this club. Bad results happen the standards on and off the park are just nowhere near where we need to be. The lack of leadership frankly stinks.
