Rangers lie to the support through statement

Not only a disgrace, but also shows massive naivety from the board in a climate of social media where supporters have all seen the banner before a ball is even kicked. The days of statements being released and supporters meekly accepting it as fact are long gone.

How’s your own protest been going so far mate? Any news on when you’ll have gathered enough tennis balls to throw on the pitch?

Judy Murray letting me down the spoonburning cow. No be foiled though, import oranges by the crate from Spain!

In all seriousness, match disruption calls at the time were perhaps misjudged.

Bit different now the club are lying to the supporters and refusing banners, some will react angrily. Rightly so imo, being taken for mugs.

Not defending the board here, but I doubt that is the banner in question or they wouldn't have mentioned anti-police in knowing we would catch them in a blatant lie.

There’s literally always a banner of some description that says “ACAB” on it though. Have the police just taken a head stagger at the exact same time the board are getting banners against them?

Rangers spokespersons have released a statement saying that the banner refused into Ibrox was an Anti-Police banner.

Don't let the club lie to you, this is the banner they refused.

Union Bears responded to the incident, saying: "Union Bears had planned to display various legitimate message banners at today’s match highlighting different issues surround our club and support”

probably spat the dummy out around the “ACAB” banner they were also going to display. Didn’t go in and decided to take advantage by claiming it was the Ross Wilson banner

End thread

They always have “ACAB” on display so it won’t have been that

Not a chance it's the ACAB banner as that's there every game.

Anybody catch what the boy on the megaphone said?

Came in during the first half, gave a speech and received an applause from BF1/2 and then left

That sounds absolutely ridiculous

I’ve never been able to understand a word said through it btw

There's Anti-Police stickers and banners every home game, they never bat an eyelid.

What big gripe have we got with the Police right now?

They're lying, blatantly.

the usual acab is cringy as fuck but I’m not sure who to believe re the ‘police’ stuff but the banner in the photo is legit enough to display imo
