Someone on the our group chat has shared that apparently the reason all these cunts are leaving is because we’re going to get took over soon.  Anyone else heard anything at all?

The newly appointed Chief Executive, James Bisgrove, said: “On behalf of the board, I would like sincerely to thank Craig as he moves on, having transformed our Academy into one which is on a par and even exceeds many clubs in Europe’s biggest leagues.

Good. The academy/b team have been on a major decline. Even compared to 4 years ago the talent is like night and day. Yes not many from 4 years ago made 1st team appearances but a lot have went on to have decent careers elsewhere. We also reguarly beat the scum then. This season the B team and youths have done as well as the 1st team have 🙄

There’s no doubt Mulholland has professionalised the academy since taking it over, the state it was in prior to him was dreadful.

It seemed to be going well till the last few years where the talent seems to be on the decline and this season has been extremely poor and by all accounts the next few generation of kids are all way below where we need them to be (and below other teams in Scotland)

We seem to have bet on bringing in older kids players from English academies to bridge that gap (Ishaka/Stevens/Nsio etc… but no real evidence of it working yet.

Not sure what has brought such a decline?

Hopefully the replacement reinvigorates our approach.

We have plenty of players in the academy who will have 'decent' careers elsewhere.
