gmcf 34,303
Feared the worst when he was getting sent back to the club but it's still a massive blow . Reiterates the need for at least two up front before the deadline . Hadron Collider, DrLaudrup and Bobby Hume
Stunels 1,248
AFCON is an absolute baw ache for us every time - only upside to this at all is that there is still time to bring in a replacement. Real blow to the team tho. Bobby Hume and kelvd1873

OrangeRab 2,768
Disaster. Even if we do sign the 3 quality forwards we need. Good chance we’re going to have some off matches whilst they get used to each other, the league etc. Bobby Hume

blaudrup 5,424
This is quite depressing - we've just spent so, so long taking one step forward, one step back, another sideways (and that's just Dessers taking extra touches to tee up a shot), and not getting to build on something. PromDeAnglais 5,496
Some of the Brighton press have called it a "season ending" injury, at least 3 months out apparently according to someone on FF, if true then his season is as good as over. We're nearly in February, best case is he'd be back for the last few games in May completely unfit. We'd be as well sending him back to Brighton and terminating the loan, I'm sure Brighton will have far better medical facilities for his recovery. Going in to the second part of the season with Matondo, Wright and McCausland as our only wide men is absolutely stinking, about 4 goals between them all season in all competitions I know it's a bit harsh on McCausland as it's his breakthrough season but the stats tell us we're shockingly thin now in the wings with little to no end product. We can kiss any hopes of further trophies this season goodbye if we don't bring in at least 2 more attacking options. Shambles of the season in terms of recruitment. By the time he gets upto speed the season will be all but over if its 3 months. From the sounds of it he is staying anyway.
MARK92GERS 807
Would rather we went out now & bring in 2 wide players over a striker if it’s at all possible

Best case you could add another 4 league games onto that. WilliamMunny

RDB14 2,760
The only silver lining to this could be that he will possibly have less interest in the Summer than if he ended up on 30 goals here. Will be going into the last year of his contract, possibly keen to come here - may drive the price down a little. plymouthranger
