Huge difference between pullling up an ignoramus for treating our language like Russell Brand treats women on one hand and pointing out, for no purpose, that someone has got a detail in a post incorrect on the other. Nor even close. ”Can do better”

We beat PSV last season, we got utterly embarrassed off them this season. graeme_4

CL seems to be a significant step up, and since our last EL campaign we’ve gone significantly downhill. Majority would have felt confident going into a EL campaign under Gerrard or Gio, rather than expecting / excusing a battering.

So why have confidence in Gio when the team chucked it against an inferior team to the one we put out to qualify? EL year before of course, performances afterwards pretty much across the board were awful, no confidence in him whatsoever, hence the reason he was sacked. superallysbears 7,831
Won the league and then got to the Europa final, in both cases regressed massively afterwards, Champions League level could offer some mitigation but still didn't do ourselves justice, until players like Tav, Goldson, Jack and the like are no more then I expect mediocrity going forward, good players who've had their day for me.
