As I said, we were always going to drop points at some point. We’ve done it and still managed to come out of the weekend in a better position than we went into it so no, I’m not annoyed.

The Motherwell result will hopefully be the reality check the players need to make sure we don’t slip up again.

How many times have we heard that this a reality check after these players fuck up though? it keeps on happening that’s the worry, hopefully it was just a bad day at the office and not something bigger ie certain players shitting the bed yet again when the pressure is on.

This game reminded me of when we dropped points to Dundee United in early April in Walter's last season, 3-2 at Ibrox in the last minute. Result came out of nowhere, looked like it might have killed our title bid.

Honestly expecting both sides to drop points again before the end of the season but there won't be much margin for error.

I don't think that's fair this season. We're just off the back of an 11 game winning run, which would have been longer had we not lost narrowly away at our toughest away game. So it doesn't really "keep happening".

We've been near flawless, which we've had to be in order to claw back a points gap that nobody expected us to.

Too many but I’m just hoping Clement is the manager that can actually get through to them this time.

Different type of pressure though playing catch up and actually competing for the title, hopefully it’s just the bump in the road that Clement alluded to.

It is, I agree, but we have to trust that this manager and group will deal with it and back them because they've barely dropped points. Even if we were to slip up again, it's still neck and neck.

Any split specialists know what we are looking at for the split? 3 home 2 away? Or vice versa? Will they need to go to Rugby park again?

We've got 2 at home. They should need to go to rugby park again but it'll depend on which teams are in the top 6.

As it stands we’ve got tarriers, hibs, hearts away, st Mirren and Killie at home

tarriers will be us, hearts, hibs at home and st Mirren Killie away I think

Need to win ur home games to win the league 👍

We lost to Motherwell at Ibrox for first time in 27 years. A team who had 1 point from their last 5 or 6 games.

Not sure what I’m trying to say tbf 😂😂

😂 I agree, it was a shite result. I'm just saying that people saying it was a missed opportunity are assuming that the Homer and Barts would've definitely won yesterday regardless of our result. Albeit, I'm not saying they wouldn't have.

I'm just trying to ride the rollercoaster of a title race and looking to console myself that we got a gift yesterday, rather than looking at Saturday as a missed opportunity. Trying to keep a lid on the tension.

When you say these players do you mean Tavernier and Goldson?
Cos the majority of the squad haven’t been round too long

How do you know that? I'm not doubting you, I'm just wondering how you know.

Well Goldson especially but there’s plenty others still in the squad have shit the bed when pressure is on.

A dugshite Motherwell side having 15 shots at goal is totally unacceptable

Hearts had alot of shots on us albeit 5 nil doon...killie and Motherwell both had alot of chances. We barely had a shot on our goal for weeks before these games

I do wonder if the lack of attacking options we have at the moment is emboldening these teams and they’re committing more men forward knowing there’s little in behind them.

Favours them quite a bit then, hopefully we have a good wee gap when the split arrives

I wondered if the scum attitude was right going to Tynecastle. After our result, they should have been encouraged but they seemed lax, almost complacent.

Might be that, if we’d won, the scum might have approached the game differently even on a sub-conscious level.

Alternatively, I’m talking shite…
