Players put in a shift which resulted in a 2-0 semi final clean sheet win when not in the best of form. The players will be knackered and they should be.

Clean sheet only thanks to Butland, we waste more chances than we take.

You could say Dressers 2nd goal was lucky, he kept to form and hit the keeper,  lucky the rebound fell to him

Mate I’ve just watched a team fight for each other for 90 minutes, no idea what you’ve been watching.

The point is we’ve played ourselves out a title race and it’s taken a new player in Sterling to publicly call them out and the manager dropping players like Goldson to have us playing with a lot more control.

The damage is done in the league, all because we didn’t have the minerals for two straight games. That’s the galling thing, they turn it on and off at will.

Decent performance.

Butland solid as ever.  Balogun very very good, Sterling excellent.  Diamonde, did well but could improve. Cantwell motm for me.  Dessers looks great when things come off for him like today, should've had the match ball.

Souttar, awful. Shouldn't play for us again.  Matondo, rubbish. McAusland... needs game time I guess but poor.  Silva, seen enough now.

Was a terrific save by Butland but if Oda goes for the corner the goal was there for the taking. Thankfully he didn’t have time to think about the shot.

The keeper saved it. It didn’t hit the keeper.

It's a position that has to be high on the list for the summer transfer window, as it has been for years now.

Whoever we sign probably gets injured, that seems to be how it goes

In all likelihood we’ll fall short in the league and we’ll rue those two (or three including the OF) games.

But it’s done - full focus now has to go into winning every game left.

At worst we have another trophy, with an outside chance of a treble.

Thought Hearts were definitely going to score?
