Lawrence is woeful in any sort of press. He has no legs ir energy.

His job was to stay central and block passes through the middle. Worked well.. they reverted to passing out wide and then mostly booted it off the park.

Superb - was hoping for a story like this tbh. Must have been wild

Very first final, and it's the only domestic program i ever kept.
My Uncle and older brother wouldn't let me on the bus for the final or the replay because it was them we were playing, but jumped on the train from Ayr to St Enoch using the rent money and skipped out school early and only just remember bits and peices but will never forget the noise every time we scored against the bastards.

Essentially the expected line-up, other than Jefte for Wright which was a pleasant surprise.  Lawrence is confusing.  He does very little in attack and offers nothing going backwards but at least we know with his injury record he'll be out soon enough.

Matter of time before he’s sitting in the middle of the pitch holding an ankle

09/10 was the last one I think. Played Hearts iirc. Motherwell in 10/11 was a Saturday/Sunday, Edu scored a screamer.

@McEwan's Lager will probably know for definite

Barry’s hand ball floppy overhead kick against Hearts was fun.

Would it be outrageous to suggest he fancies us getting the game tied up around 70mins then have the benefit of Sterlings power & Cernys craft to see it through ?

Not at all. Sterling's physicality and freshness at that stage could be important and Cerny can hopefully get running at tiring defenders.
