Think we have to accept that Tavernier will be here (and in the team) until next summer at least.

If Kas can be signed permanently, then he’s a straight replacement at RB.

Which means that Sterling may continue as a utility man, filling in where needed.

No bad thing to have such flexibility in the squad.

Seems a bit mad to be throwing out a 4 year extension on what you'd presume would be an increased wage to a player who is nowhere near a regular starter and doesn't even have a preferred position in the team.

Hopefully he does and i like him , but he signed on a 4 year deal a year ago , has injury issues and isnt a first pick , its unnecessary
