Why?
Champions of Armenia, down to 10 men and our players couldn’t have looked less interested. I can understand bad luck or a keeper playing a blinder but that team putting in more effort than we did is not on.
Maybe one eye on the weekend but if you score you can make substitutions and then just manage the game. Doing it at 0-0 and relying on the goal from last week is just not on.
Play anything like this at the weekend and we are in for a rough ride, don’t care how shite their defence is, we look devoid of ideas and fitness.

That was embarrassing, players ought to be ashamed of themselves.

That would’ve been 5 or 6 if we started with Helander and Roofe instead of Balogun and Kent. Kent still doesn’t deserve to start in either game next week
I think Gerrard wants him to play through the bad performance but right now wright, when available, deserves to start ahead of Kent. I think he should have been off for roofe for at least 20-30 mins of that match as he still hasn’t shown any signs of re-capturing his form.

My only hope is Gerrard has said to Tav and Kent, last chance today or your losing your starting position but I doubt he has.

Manager should rightly be getting questioned again. Ryan Kent starting this game is honestly ridiculous.
Only thing I can think of is he spoke with him after Thursday and got the reaction he was looking for, otherwise I’m baffled by this decision

I was half joking mate but if we go toe to toe in results they top the league and it becomes physiological, they say it can be worth 3 points at the end of the season
It is psychological which is why we, the players and the staff need to focus on ourselves, beat what’s in front of us and get playing with a fire in our belly again then it matters not what they have been doing.

We need to score 7 tomorrow 😢
Stupid question, why?
Honestly don’t know why people are obsessing with how they are doing.
Bottom line is we need to play better than we have been and get the results we should be getting and we’ll take care of them on the 29th.

From the first interview the line that stands out when talking about Wright “he didn’t play with any ego”
that right there is the issue, players thinking because of 55 their legendary status is secured and now they can stroll about like they have a 10ft cock to swing around.
Gerrard has to back up his words and drop those who are way below, he knows who they are even if he won’t say it publicly. Make an example of them and if they react badly, sell them, if they react positively and knuckle down then they can win their way back into the team.

Stunning goal there

I've been saying this in here for weeks now. Next summer I think his value drops as he will be 30. After his stats and success last season now is the time to sell for maximum value
It actually makes sense, I think in terms of selling one of the first team players Tav probably makes the most sense as Patterson is a ready made replacement with a decade of football ahead of him to get better still.
Is there sufficient interest in Tav and would it be northwards of £10m to avoid any other sales following missing out on CL money?

I think Alfie has improved in terms of going out wide and causing issues for the central defenders being drawn out. Roofe has always been excellent as far as his movement off the ball is concerned.
We know this formation is based on a fluid front line and with roofe it seems to just click, I also thought Aribo had a decent game tonight with his link up play with roofe.

But we know they won't have to....thats another argument for another day I suppose
Yeah, where is the incentive to show all the right qualities and traits and put in a good performance if it doesn’t get you ahead of the guys who have been poor. In particular bassey showed far more determination, positivity with his play, far more direct running at their fullback than born a has shown of late.

Fullbacks impressed me most tonight, as far as I’m concerned Tav and Barisic should have to win back their jerseys.

Need to make a real statement tonight and show that we can demolish teams, the team and management need to get their act together pronto.

Bloody hell, B team taking after first team. Dumbarton score 2 in 2 mins. 3-2 now.

Winning 3-0.
Wonder if they’re available next Thursday.
Weston again and Lowry also on the scoresheet. These two seem to be the standouts at the moment.

Starting line-up for the B team against Dumbarton tonight:
Rangers: Budinauckas, Devine, Katic, McClelland, Fraser, McKinnon, McCann, Lowry, Weston, Hastie, Lindsay.
SUBS: Hogarth, King, MacKinnon, Miller, Strachan, Ritchie-Hosler, Lyall, McKee, Ure.
Good to see him back and hopefully back into the first team soon to add some much needed aggression and passion to the back line.

Vice city was outstanding, largely due to the incredible 80s soundtrack, really looking forward to a remaster
