How long until we can discuss bad performances without someone dredging up Ally?

If you think that was a bad footballing performance then we are on totally different wavelengths and there's no point discussing it.

If hibs win their two games in hand we are in big trouble.we have absolutely no composure whatsoever in front of goals and we are always liable to lose from high balls at the other end.make no mistake about it the pressure is on big time now and all the shit about scoring 5 and 6 every game doesn't change that.can see us going through the playoff torture again unfortunately.

Why are we in big trouble? If they win their games in hand we'll still be top of the league. We have absolutely no divine right to win the league by 20-30 points or have it handed to us on a plate. We will have to work hard to win the title, showing the fight we expect to see in a Rangers side. Hibs are a decent side and will chase us....the key word being chase.

Still annoyed with the fact McKay lasted the full game and Holt, who was our best player again, didn't.

I agree with you, especially in the second half McKay's delivery at corners was shit the usual floated ball, he also gave the ball away with bad passing decisions and quite a few times he pulled out of tackles when he could easily won them, I would have hooked him at half time as he just didn't seem to be in it today.

We had a bad day at the office. It happens.

In fact, no, we had a fucking good day at the office; we dominated almost all of that match. We created countless chances. We just missed our chances, we were unlucky at times and wasteful at others.

It happens. We're still the best side in the league by a distance.

Agreed.

Too many fans squealing defeatism.

I love the way we play a controlled passing game, our ball retention is superb.  But, why oh why, do we never see urgency until we are either chasing the game in the last quarter or we go a goal behind.

We played today like a training match until we lost a goal, then we shifted up a gear.  We are Rangers and should be playing with that level of intensity for 90 minutes in every match.

If the fans see that then so must Wrburton and Weir and they are failing if they do not convey that message to the players.

Nearly 6pm and not statements / interviews on the Rangers website.  Are they all still in the dressing room being raged at?  Who rages at MWI wonder?   The website has gallery photos from the game.  Interesting they can be posted before any words from MW or DW about what was a shocking - yes shocking - result.  And coming on top of just scraping through in recent games.

The team is off the boil.   Sure there is a lot of froth in making chances.  Sure there is a lot of possession.  Sure there are a lot of corners (mostly shite btw - no clue whatsoever about how to convert corner kick pressure into goals).   Sure there are lots of crosses and pretty intricate passing movements.  But there sure is a glaring lack of finishing.  And glaring bad defensive play too.   What now for all the pre-match hype about how good the defence has been.  What now for all the puffed up talk of being in a good place.  What now about not spending (or having the dosh to spend - which was it I really wonder) on physicality and experience to not only win this league but to get off to a good start next season.   A draw against the bottom club.  Only one goal scored and we allowed them to score.  Ended up chasing a game to scramble a draw against the worst team in the league.

No wonder there is silence so far from the Manager.

Just back from the game.

Can't believe we dropped points in all honesty, hammered them at times. Had Forrester's shot went in early on in the first half then it could have been a different game but that's football. I am certainly not panicking unlike others on this thread.

Today though showed me we should look to freshen things up a bit. King should start versus Queen of the South and O'Halloran looks like he could be a player for us going by his second half performance. Today's game in a tight pitch was never going to allow him to use his pace in and behind defences though. Hopefully we put things right on Tuesday.

We're still top of the league and still have the potential of Europe next season.

We can't get down about this so roll on Tuesday night to make amends.

(I've not heard a match on the Radio for years)

ohh and maybe Livingston will suprise us

So should we just ignore today?

When we can't get the ball in the net against a bottom team we still need work.

There we go.  5 mins past 6 and comments posted from Miller and MOH.   Enough chances to win the game.   Yup.   And some.   But the plain fact is the players on the pitch were not good enough, not determined enough, not hungry enough to convert chances into more than one goal.  Again.   Shite results like this was not good enough last season and it sure as fuck is not good enough this season either.   But onwards to Tuesday and we'll see what they can do against Killie.

Why oh why is Ref Bear constantly questioning our manager?

Does he want to go back to punting from back to front?

MW/DW have worked wonders with our team and I for one believe we are definitely heading in the right direction.

After 3 years of shite you would think that we would all be closing ranks in support of our manager.

No Surrender? Aye right !!

Shit happens, we're still a great team at the end of the day. A draw is a draw, we didn't lose.

Massive injustice that we did draw considering we easily could've been 5 goals up but that's football.

Defense looks great, Midfield is looking better with Holt back and our forwards are doing a great job as evidence by our stats. The biggest problem remains actually scoring.

The forwards need to work the goalkeeper a lot more, just take random shots. We retained the ball 71%, having it isn't an issue. But if the goalkeeper isn't getting tested further more tired, then we won't see goals simple as that. Should be doing what Haliday is doing, taking wild chances that may or may not go in. Either way it's a plus for us because we get the ball back easy, it works the goalkeeper alternivitley it gets us a goal. I'm not worried about the team, we've had bad days before and we'll have bad days in the future. Point stands that we're at the top of the league.
