Popular Post Del 667
What is folks issue with Jamie Murphy? The amount of threads/posts I have seen saying that he isn't good enough recently has been unreal and I don't understand why... When he joined us we were all over the place, a terrible team with even worse manager(s), but in 19 games he scored 5 goals and assisted 10, none of our current players that play in a similar position have got anywhere near that! On top of that, when you think that he had only played 6 games (375mins) in just over a year at Brighton it was always going to take him a bit of time to get up to speed ( Look at Davis recently! ) but the return he gave us was very good! His league debut for us was against Aberdeen, a 2-0 win, and the team was as follows: 4-2-3-1 Foderingham Tavernier Martin Bates John Holt Goss Candeias* Windass** Murphy Morelos *** *subbed off for Cardoso **subbed off for Halliday ***subbed off for Cummings When you look at the wholesale changes in our squad over the summer, for me it would only be fair to suggest that he would kick on playing with better players and again this season in 7 games he had scored 1 goal and assisted 3! A fit Jamie Murphy is a big threat for us and an important part of our squad! I for one hope he comes back fully fit and would have him starting if he gets through pre-season. RangersMedia 35,961
His production is very good and he'd fit into the system we've been playing recently brilliantly people just want to moan about everything Del, cstamomusa, Supersonic and 1 other

King Jela 20,361
Looked good between January and March last season, was shite against the taigs in the 3-2 defeat and was poor the rest of that season after that and that’s pretty much the only way to sum up his Rangers career imo. Dan Deacon 55,235
It is a huge cliche but he will be like a new signing for us next year. I am sure he has been working as hard as possible at the recovery to come back and earn his place in the team.
eskbankloyal 19,446
Will fit in really well to the 4-3-2-1 although nobody can be sure what level he will be at post knee injury

Means he now goes into pre season starting afresh rather than being.runshed back for example last two games and breaking down again CoatbridgeBear, Bobby Hume, WilliamMunny and 1 other
ElBufalo20 7,892
Could be a big player for us. A winger that can score goals.
WilliamMunny 3,237
He will definately be a good player to have available when he's back and fit. Even from the bench he can make an impact.

Courtyard Bear 41,357
Played out of position, he is not a wide player. Would give him a chance to see what he can do in a narrow front 3. Bobby Hume and BlueMe

Blue Avenger 22,567
The boy is maturing all the time. He certainly set the heather on fire with his loan club and will have done him no end of good. We can build on that and give him the opportunity. With the EL qualifiers and if we make it to the group stage, then we will need every player available to rotate that squad or we will fuck up in the league with players dying on their feet and mentally with the number of games we need to play. the old guard 2,323
Really good to have him back fully fit. More of a goal threat than what we have now imo, he will defo make the squad stronger.

Bearsden bear 2,376
The goal against Hearts last season was amazing and shows what he is capable of. We are a different animal under Gerrard and I think Murphy won't let us down when called upon.

Practically productive in 7 games and against weaker sides. He's a decent squad player but he's not good enough to be first choice IMO.
