Whilst the arrogance of this Mhob is only too well documented, another example appears today with Forrest(Gump?) basically claiming that Rangers are only acting as pacemakers at the top of the League, as we are "keeping them on their toes". Basically he is saying that when they decide to step it up, it will be back to business as usual as far as they are concerned. He grudgingly admits that Rangers are better than last season but is still confident. He may well be proved right ultimately, but hopefully his words may come back to haunt him, because barring injury or a catastrophic loss of form, I can see us outscoring them again this season whilst keeping it a helluva lot tighter at the back than we managed last year.

With any luck Mr Forrest will have to get used to that odd feeling of seeing Rangers at the top of the table.

This season we seem to have found a bit of killer instinct that we lacked last year.

Last year we specialised in dropping points in games where we generally dominated play. You will always get a few games where is just doesn't happen, or games where you get sucker punched but..... last season it happened too often.

I believe they've came backwards a bit - look at the job Rodgers has done at Leicester to see they lost a good manager and replaced him with Neil Lennon.

Havent they had a better start this season than last?

They were pish until the winter break last season I'm sure.

I believe, pressure on them from our much improved playing squad and a rapidly increasing winning mentality, coupled with Lennons recent record of alienating/ blaming players when things don’t go right may very well see them go in the opposite direction as the season progresses. If we do go on to lift 55 this season I can see the knives coming out for Lawell, Rogers, Lennon, Tierney etc, etc, etc, in fact I could envisage Lawell walking around the end of their leave domination (can live in hope)...

They were pish after as well but kept racking up points with last minute winners we were shite full stop and put no pressure on them at all

Let’s hope they really think that ,shows a sign of complacency and arrogance and disrespect,

Apart from the tarrier game we are on maximum points and not dropping points the way we did last season

points will be dropped that there is no doubt of but this season we will drop a lot less needless points than last year ,all we need is to turn 6 daft draws into wins to get in front of their total for last year ,there has been a couple of games at least this season where we have won when previously this may not have happened

long may it continue

Aye, you’re right. Was meaning form wise though, think they something like 10 undefeated until Rodgers left.

I'm sure after the winter break they had 5 or 6 home games out of 7(Scottish cup also) against pish opposition....they racked up maximum points with the minimum of fuss while we dropped 7 pts to Killie,  St Johnstone and Hibs I think....the league was done and dusted in that spell of games from what I remember

This time it’s roles reversed so it’s pivotal we go into the Xmas break ahead or in the mix and do some real damage from then to the last round of fixtures where we’ll inevitably be away more often than not
