BlueKnight87 17,851
He had a shocker today but dropping him for the Old Firm would be nuts. If any keeper is capable of bouncing back against them it's mcgregor

Can't make 1 howler never mind 2 in a game and it's happened a few times this season. No shame in it, he's 40 now. Needs dropped. Same thing is happening to Gordon who is a similar age. The scum first goal the other night went straight through his hands. McGregor has been outstanding in the past when we needed him but time catches up with everyone. I wouldn’t be surprised if he pulls out a blinder on Wednesday but we need a top replacement sooner rather than later. SIRB_72 4,148
McGregor starts on Wednesday no doubt about it! Today he was horrendous, cost us two points from fairly normal situations you'd expect him to deal with. He's still the man for a game like celtic. They aren't like Ross County who like will whip in proper crosses and try to get on top of a goalkeeper. Like Europe, it's the type of game you need a pure shot stopper and he's still one of the best in that regard! Durrant10

steven33jackie 2,017
Had a nightmare today with the type of mistake you maybe see once per season let alone two in the same game. His past history gives him plenty credit and for me he starts on Wednesday. Real issue is that his back up isn't good enough and the search for a long term replacement has to be done very soon. J-Maestro 13,887
McGregor shouldn't be dropped yet. Still think it was ridiculous McCrorie losing his spot after doing nothing wrong but that's on Gerrard. MacBoyd and JograBear

Swagger 8,921
I initially thought he should get the old Firm because he does turn it on against them but thinking more about it his mistakes, rashness and lack of concentration is happening more and more. Really looks like he’s done. Has zero presence when balls are lumped into the box ayrshireranger

kelvd1873 7,659
Mcgregor had a shocker no doubt. I’ve watched the highlights back and he’s 100% at fault for the 1st. With the 3rd goal it’s actually kamara who puts mcgregor off by tussling with him to get to the ball. Fucking shambles all round.
Laudrupsleftfoot 12,208
Wouldn't put it past McGregor to be MotM on Wednesday, but we need to push the boat out for a top goalkeeper to replace him in the summer. A 'good' one over the course of the season costs you points like that, and can't make the unbelievable saves that wins or keeps you in games. Badger 9,087
McGregor has never been a great technical keeper, and that probably what has stopped him going on to be very top level - modern game requires it. However he has always had top class reflexes and is as good a shot stopper as anyone. The fact he has kept those reflexes to nearly 40 is remarkable really, as he was never a Van Der Sar type who had the technical game to fall back on. However he isn't going to get better and won't go on forever. Dropping him would be madness though.
