LaaRFC 4,756
Even when playing at his worst he tends to create a chance or 2 and has definitely looked better since Beale came in. I’d keep him and Beale will be doing everything he can to keep him. However given he’s available on a free, some parts of his performance will have impressed any clubs keeping an eye on him and we might not be able to hold onto him anyway Laudrupsleftfoot

bluenoz 30,918
Despite frustrating me a lot, I would re-sign him in a New York minute.
The No.9 760
Thought he was good, though after his goal he started trying to do too much when easy passes were on which was frustrating but would definitely rather he resigned
McEwan's Lager 30,571
Two questions for me. Is he worth the money for an increase for new deal and can we afford it even if he is worth it? I think the answer is probably no on the first question and the board basically admitted at the AGM that the answer to the second is no. In that case it’s probably best that we get something for him this month? Number5

Jury still out for me , and see how he does from here on in . Good performance today I thought .

Shetland Bear 433
Frustrating but realistically will cost a small fortune to replace so think resigning him should be a massive priority
SkylineBlue 23,484
Would prefer to sign him on a new deal even if only to maybe recover our outlay for him in a years time. I'll be sick if he leaves for nothing.

We've seen a huge improvement In kent since Beales arrival. He's very much a marmite footballer. I really like him,, manage him properly and you have a star. On his day he's a 20m footballer. BookWorm 4,155
I think Beale rates Kent highly so we should expect to see him around for a while yet. Especially with this free roaming role he has him playing in. If it brings wonderful goals like the peach he scored today, then I'm all for it. To be a 20m player you have to have multiple days though and I just don’t think he does it enough. It’s psychological with him. He’s the ultimate confidence player. If you can get him to find it within himself the yeah you have a player. But it’s a massive risk to give him an increased wage and build a team around him and he has another form slump for 20-30 games. MrMckee 3,424
I would keep him if possible for 2 reasons: A) Don't trust Wilson to identity someone who is a better replacement (see matondo fiasco) B) Anyone who is obviously better will be out of our price range

I don't think we'll have a bigger individual threat for years to come. I dont think Kent wants to leave and Belaes a fan. He's exactly the sort of player that our young fan base can idolise which is really important. We'll see what happens.

NorthernLights 2,526
It will cost a fair bit to replace him. End product is often missing (hence why he scores as few as he has) but he’s an outlet and he keeps defenders on the back foot
