Summer will see the biggest changes at Rangers in years

We need -

a new keeper with Mcrorie as no2.

A quality right back to challenge Tav.

A new left centre half to replace Helander and challenge Davis.

Replacements for Davis and Kamara in midfield.

A new forward line.

Time to move on McGregor, McLachlan, Helander, S. Davis, Kamara, Kent, Roofe, Wright and Morelos.

Matondo, Hagi, Jack, Colek, Sakala and Arfield could potentially be on that list too.

McCrorie needs to find a new club too , even when the other two were brutal most weeks he never got a look in.

If we’d just cashed in on Morelos, Kent and kamara. We could have signed 2x winger, a striker, a cm, a cb and a gk for 5 million a pop. That would have been the rebuild 😭

In my job I would have been fired for such amateur mistakes like letting your most valuable assets run down their contracts and leave for 0.

We should be looking at a transfer budget of around £10-£12m. We’re going to free up about 200k a week in wages letting 8 players go as well.

We could raise another £10m from selling Hagi, Kamara, Davies. Those 3 won’t be hard to move on it’s players like Barisic, Matondo and Wright who will be difficult to shift.

It isn’t a massive task as is being made out, we’re helped a lot by having so many out of contract for a completely fresh start.

The hard bit is signing players who may actually be able to pass a ball, have a long range shot, finish within the 6 yard box, aren’t permanently injured.

I’m not even optimistic we can sell those 3 for 10. 2 can’t make it into our shite team. And 1 every time he plays seems to add to his YouTube blooper reel.

We couldn’t sell Kent or Morelos when they were lighting it up in Europe..

Davies will always have teams interested, he was Preston captain and had been excellent down there as well.

Kamara will be picked up by some middle of the road French mob.

Any team with a slight connection to the Hagi name will want our Hagi as well. Don’t think it’s outrageous to think we could get £3m or more for each of them.

I've not seen enough of him to make a judgement. But if he ain't going to be good enough why is he still here?

Hopefully he'll get a chance before the end of the season.

Feel sorry for the boy.

Died in wool bluenose clinging on hope he gets a chance.

Instead we have 41 year old, moving like the tinman from wizard of oz in our nets 🙈

We have held his career back. Almost as bad at what gerrard done to his brother.

Kinda what the Tims said when the fat Aussie arrived. See how that rebuild went!

They had assets sold that raised them around 30m. Their manager spent almost 50m in the 2 seasons he's been here.

So whilst rhe situations may have been similar the solutions most certainly aren't. Beale won't have near the same assets to sell or warchest for spending.

That could have been us last summer if we had cashed in on Morelos, Kent and kamara.

Would have been even at least another 20 million on top of the 15 we spent. We could have done the same thing.

But now we probably have like 15 to spend. And they are miles ahead with probably more than us to spend.

Before we get on to things like their superior scouting set up.

The only path to winning the league I see is Fat Ange goes. They get unlucky with a few injuries (mainly to CCV). We sign at least 3 very good players along with 2-3 more starters. And we get lucky with injuries (Roofe gives us a season etc).

The odds are stacked

They imploded having lost their captain, manager, CEO, star striker (Edouard) and then spent months chasing Eddie Howe who eventually told them to fuck off.

Their recovery shows what is possible so I don’t accept the “multiple windows to get things right” theory.

Goldson and Souttar with Raskin and Cantwell in front of them is the platform to build from. An entire forward line needed.

Our failings recently have been in the mind, not the legs - we need to start recruiting players as much for their mental strength as their skill at beating a man.

Not sure that age would be much of an issue in that kind of role these days. Especially for a guy who’s still as sharp and healthy as GS. Agree it won’t happen though.

This obsession with going back is what's hindering us as a support. What does he have that qualifies him for a football role at Rangers?

It’s celtic we are competing against not Real Madrid ffs.

Yup am well aware of that I just think it'll be tough for us to win the title back whilst bedding in practically a new starting 11. It's roles reversed from our title winning year.

Need about 12/13 out and 7/8 in I think 5/6 nailed on starters and 2/3 better squad options

McGregor

McLaughlin

Davies

Barisic

Helander

Davis

Oboforth

Jack

Lundstram

Kamara

Arfield

Hagi

Kent

Wright

Sakala

Matondo

Morelos

Roofe

need rid of as many of that lot as possible.
