Welcome to Rangers, Danilo!

Really enjoyed how precise and sharp he was with his movements last night, looked like a lot more like a player worthy of the fee paid for him. I thought it was only his finishing that didn't look sharp. Passing, control, movement and speed of thought was all there. Just needs to be more clinical.

His finishing is diabolical tbh.

Not just last night he’s missed sitters.

Servette and tarriers too.

TBF,  the keeper made a couple of brilliant saves and he was unlucky with a couple more, though he did miss one or two bad ones.  so could have had 6 or 7, which shows you he is -

1. always willing to take a chance and not afraid to miss

2. gets himself in the right positions and hard to pick up

3. has had moe shots in one game than lammers and dessers the entire season lol

Think he'll be just fine and we'll need to take the bad misses as he will always find space / create a chance (so Ally mark 2 then)

The keeper shouldn't have got near the two he saved. They were poor finishes.

He doesn't seem a clinical finisher, but I like that he gets himself chances, and isn't scared to swing a foot at a half chance, rather than dwell on it - something we've lacked for too long.

Although if he was a clinical finisher on top of that..... he wouldn't be at Rangers. He will score plenty, but miss a few as well.

Morelos missed plenty of sitters but made up for it with scoring plenty of goals. I think that Danillo will be similar.

So the one from the freekick, one touch, snapshot and keeper turned over the bar (was not offside, so would have counted) or another, with a bit more sharpness would haver scored but keeper closed him down quick - sounds like you want Dessers to be our main striker mate lol

He'll be fine once up to speed. We won easily and a lot to do with his play, dragging defenders out to no-mans land and leaving them there, or drifting away from them easily.

His general play was good, but he should have scored at least 4.

Not disagreeing, did say he missed a couple of bad ones - think also he's still a bit worried about his face (understandably) and weary about getting thumped in the face when about to shoot, as constantly fixing his mask.  If he keeps fit, he'll score over 20 this season in the league.

Brilliant saves?

The one from free kick he had full goal to aim at.

The next one in first half, all he had to do was pass it into net.

The 1 v 1 was fucking awful and he never looked like he was comfortable.

The others were just at keeper too.

The worry again is we have another striker who will bag a few but when it really matters will be found wanting.

Probably as a club it’s what we need up front. At times when your playing against a low block a penalty box striker can be a man down. I like the fact he’s technically sound and can get involved in build up. Should drag defenders out of position and leave gaps for others.

Like most his finishing seems a bit off ATM but I'll cut him lots of slack given he's not had a proper run of games........I believe he will become more clinical, even if he doesn't then he'll still score a few goals in any case but I hope the ruthless side comes as we've missed a proper goal scorer since ....

Wel forever it seems
