After both defeats this week he has commented on the taigs not doing so well even though they currently sit 4 points ahead after 4 games with the bonus of CL football. Beale lost the fans today, its a matter of when not if now. Honestly can't imagine a world where Beale is the tactical brain mate, the guy's shown himself to be completely clueless. Agree with what you're getting at though. SuperLeeMcCulloch, GA1972, BlueKnight87 and 2 others

miracle 7,852
Even if we did bring in a new manager he’d still have to work with this squad full of injury prone dross. We’d need to look to January and find a man with a plan.

westenclosure2008 805
Only he will know what his tactics were all about today. The only success he’s had against them was playing a high press yet he decided to sit off them when they had a completely inexperienced, nervous and untested defence. It’s absolutely fucking baffling what he did today!! JCDBigBear

Only the ones who feel they’ve won a lottery ticket getting our job, not anyone worth a fuck. In all likelihood at least anyway. The ‘McInnes would do a job’ crowd are off their fucking nut. Popular Post SIRB_72 4,152
So I was looking at the history of our managers since Struth to see how early a Rangers manager must win a meaningful game against them and how successful they are. Beale has had 6 games and 4 meant something towards a League or Cup. The 3-2 loss and 3-0 win have been excluded because the league was finished. He's 0/4. The only other Rangers manager to be 0/4 against celtic was Graeme Murty and he was a temp. Bill Struth, Graeme Souness, Walter Smith x2 and Alex McLeish all won their first meaningful game against celtic. In Walter's second spell I'm using the 3-0 win at Ibrox and excluding the 1-0 & 2-0 win the season prior. Other league winning managers such as Symon, Wallace (first time) and Gerrard won their second meaningful celtic game. Advocaat bizzarely took until the 4th attempt to beat celtic but in the space of 4 weeks won the league at parkhead and beat them in the SC Final. Cup winning managers such as Willie Waddell, John Greig, Jock Wallace (second spell) and GVB all won within 4 games against celtic. Wallace first time round, Greig and GVB after 3 and Waddell after 4. Davie White, Ally McCoist and Mark Warburton are the only Rangers managers to manage 4 or more games against celtic win at least 1 but never win a major trophy. It took White 4 attempts and McCoist won on the first go, he also stopped them winning the league at Ibrox. Warburton of course managing to beat them while being a lower tier side. Managers who didnt even make as many games as Beale includes PLG and Pedro who combined were 0-5. The only manager to get ever get past 1 win in 6 against celtic (like Beale) was Willie Waddell who won 1 in 11 against celtic. He did win a European trophy though. The clear anomalies are Advocaat who won league titles despite not winning either of his first two OFs and Wallace, the second time, who won his first OF but didnt win a league. McCoist and Warburton won their first but both were under completely different scenarios to any other Rangers manager to then go and win league titles. Long story short it turns out beating celtic is quite important and Beale is past the point of league winning managers, he's past the point of cup winning managers and he's now very much in the dark and murky world of PLG, Pedro and Graeme Murty. Welcome to the party Michael but it should be just about to finish! GA1972, BridgeIsBlue, theblueoysterbar and 5 others

AdzKyle 8,620
Can’t believe how many times I’ve seen people mention McInnes. He’s not what we need and neither is Martindale. We need a winner, someone who can coach, lead and motivate. Someone who plays fast attacking football. The board need to go all out for someone experienced and not take the cheap and easy option AGAIN. alibali59 and gmcf
Pearson83 1,059
He’s gotta go that’s a given and it should be now while we have time and a chance to save the season. My other issue is that the next manager his first call is to start with big calls people like tav and others who’s positions never get touched they need to taken out this team armband also off him. He’s rode it for way to long now and while people like him Goldson borna still main picks then no matter who comes in we still have same issues!
