Good finish but as said above difference between him and Danilo was so stark. Right enough playing second fiddle could help take the pressure off him and see some improvement

Maybe he can find his role as a super sub because we definitely looked better starting with Danilo.  But fair play to him he looked very determined coming off the bench and took his goal very well.

I’ve said it before that I think dessers and lammers are both levels below what we require. I am hoping to be proven wrong though and they both settle in and become good players for us.

He did have a shot blocked which came after he had already scored but that wasn't the sitter he missed. He missed a sitter when he first came on.

He does seem to have good composure if he has time and isn't playing instinctively. He took his goal well.

He is like the opposite of Sakala - a player who was best when he didn't get time to think.

However, against packed defences in Scotland.... You are going to need your strikers to be instinctive.

Dessers scoring again hopefully buys him some time to win the fans over. It would be good if in January we only needed one or two and could afford to push the boat out for them. For that to happen we will need the likes of dessers and danillo to continue to show good form.

"But at a big club, it is almost never completely quiet.

"Rangers are a giant club Here, footballdominates the media, the people on the streets, you just can't escape it.

"We play every match in front of a full stadium, 50,000 fans. And then there are another 20,000 people on the waiting list for a season ticket.

"Even friendly matches or cup matches against second division teams are always sold out. And the club has fan shops all over the United Kingdom.

"The Old Firm game was very special. My family was there and I enjoyed it partly because we didn't play a bad game.

"We took the lead, but our goal was disallowed quite controversially and shortly afterwards Celtic scored from their only chance of the match, causing us to lose.

"But it was a very special feeling, sometimes I have to pinch myself. Many people dream of one day experiencing such a match in the stadium and I got to play in it.

"Before I came here, I also had the impression that Glasgow was a grey, grey city. But now that I live here, I think it's fantastic.

"Everyone who visits me thinks so too. It's very hip and the people are super friendly. That really stands out.

"You get used to the accent. I notice that the Scots talk a little more politely when they speak to me, but if, for example, I am lying on the massage table and they start talking to each other, then I have to stop.

Agreed mate and will maybe take some pressure of Dessers and we’ll see him come of the bench to contribute, like he did at Dundee, allow him to build up some confidence.

Do players get advice on giving interviews or have to pass them by the club before they are printed? Genuinely intrigued as don't know.
