In the first half we could have had 3 or 4 between the Tav penalty miss, McCausland goal ruled out and Dessers' poor finishing. Second half was a bit passive but we put a lot into that first half coming off Thursday night. Also Livi really went to type by sitting so deep in the second. That is something I'm interested to see how we cope with under Clement as we've been good at drawing teams out so far. The decision to play pacey wide players in Sima and McCausland meant we could hit balls quickly in behind when we won possession back and before Livi could settle back into their shape. We also moved the ball forward much quicker than I can remember us doing in years. Clearly this is coming from Clement and this approach is going to be key to beating teams that park the bus. A thoroughly professional job and one that we’ll have completely forgotten by the end of the season.
