Tav was slow to react for their opener and deserves criticism, but that is one of the jammiest goals I’ve ever seen.

Jammy as fuck but the lax jogging Tav and Goldson when going back to goal as always. Never switched on completely from whistle to whistle.

The game made clear what we already knew.  Tavernier and Goldson are not worthy leaders and do not have the bottle required. Having said that, we also do not have better alternatives in their position.

Ridvan coming back and having midfield of Lundstram, Sterling and Cantwell would have made a world of a difference. If this is how we line up in the next OF game we will be fine.

Sima is absolutely quality.

Tav had the bottle to covert a pen when we desperately needed a goal. Massive pressure on him. He's just a poor defender - something we all already knew.

Oh they’ll be out in force. Sutton on commentary, Stewart on Twitter. Same on sportscene.

All very calculated to increase the pressure.

Just ignoring the fact they had a questionable penalty and we had a goal ruled out.

they’ll still find a way to moan and spin it

And ignoring the fact that VAR favoured them 2-1.

Didn't have a great game, but their first was just freakish. Ball could have gone anywhere.

Never a yellow man, come on.

Have you heard of persistent fouling? Why was Goldson, tav, Lawrence etc all asking Beaton to book him for if it wasn’t a yellow?

And a poor crosser, which along with defending are his main roles.

We need to replace Goldson with better. Tav keeps his spot for the other things he brings.

yeah. they would have been rocked and i think we would have had a good chance to go on and win it. it actually worked against us, because it took the momentum away after the first goal.

That goal stand we score in the 10 minutes after it we win the game.

Brenda says our pen wasn’t a pen the ref was right first time.

The ref was behind the incident he didn’t see the contact ya tarrier bastard

Yep, he'll accept the draw and after the weekend the knives will be out for Beaton, even though they got everything going off him

Any team thats had joy against them this season has attacked them from the wide areas with guys who'll gladly run with pace on the ball

We start with wright and silva, two guys further away from running and attacking with pace on the ball (for whatever reason)

At the piggery we must start with two rapid wingers, two guys who prefer to just run, press them back, press them deep

Spot on. Said the same before. All the goals they concede come down the channels. They have two very average full backs and midfielders that don’t like to track wide.

Sima and Matondo will have lots of chances if they start next time.

Center half pairing going forward has to be Soutar and Balogun. Goldson was a bomb scare again today. Puts the defence under so much pressure by always needing two three touches to control a simple pass. Couple that with his amazing ability to miss free headers in either box.

When he came off at the end there I'll be honest in saying I won't be fussed at all if he's facing a spell on the treatment table. I'd be happy with Balogun and Souttar until the end of the season.

The team needs to evolve. Tav has been excellent for us but we need to find a way moving forward of being less reliant on his attacking prowess with getting our recruitment right in our forward positions.

For once, I don't really have any issues with the ref decisions today.

There was contact. It's a penalty. Perhaps Johnstone should have got a second yellow?

And Lawrence clearly fouled in the lead up to the chopped of goal.
