Is Clement getting an easy ride?

Gio Beale and Clement all can't handle the scum.

PC now has alot of newer players.

Is it a Manager thing or is a a club mentality thing where we know we are 2nd rate?

Gio was the only 3 that seemed to change tactics showing any level of understanding at how to change a game. Only problem for him was that was only really in europe.

Beale and Clement have one formation and that’s it, just change personnel and hope it works.

I get that you want a manager that has a particular style (Muscat was very much in that bracket) but when it’s not working or you play a side who are better than you then you have to have some tactical nous to be able to change the game by going after their weakness and countering their strengths.

Its not rocket science what makes celtic work, yet time and time again we let McGregor control the middle of the park, we let their wingers and fullbacks reach the byeline, we lose runners from the midfield and the opposite wing.

Would honestly prefer if we just didnt do any interviews after the game

The press conferences before games can go too, unless there's a desperate need for answers to questions nobody asked, or interminable, irrelevant rambling about what happens in Belgium.

They have spent millions and 3 seasons building the core of that team, we're now on our 3rd gaffer who has a different idea of how to play, so we need to adjust and change again

Until ANY manager is allowed time to implement their own style across a full team nothing will change

How long should he be given mininum until the plug is pulled on him?

How long do you think it will take him to win the league in current circumstances where their squad is vastly better valued than ours, they'll rake in and spend more than us?

The problem is we don’t do the basics right under Clement, do we want to back this horse and give him the time.

A team with pace power and cohesion that ultimately we couldn't afford

We literally threw everything we had at that season with no plan for the future

We could afford it. We just fucked it up by not cashing in on players when we should have. We also sold Bassey, Patterson, Aribo, Kamara for good money.

The problem was not selling Morelos, Kent, Tav etc when we could have got good money for them.

And total shite recruitment since 55 starting with Gio.

Our stats against them are embarrassing and getting worse by the encounter.

They win the league time and time again yet they fail in Europe consistently.

They are by no way a great team, we just make them look the part.

Hate saying it, but that is down to us.

3 manager in a row that have had very little imagination or style of play.

Walter and McLeish would have went there and had a plan to be solid and hard to beat. Muscle over flair and try to cut out the space they love having.

We don't have the quality to play 4231 at their dump but that's what we persist with, and results continue to be woeful. Today we were even more open than usual.

Got to hope the penny drops with Clement but I doubt he'll change from that one system.

Along with the wages we were paying them. Rather than sell the likes of Morelos, Kent etc when their stock was high,we extended their contracts and increased their wages, then when they lost interest/their contracts were running out no one was interested and we lost them for nothing.

They arent a great team but they are lightyears ahead of us both in quality and workrate. Anyone who thinks otherwise is completely deluded. The quality thing isnt an easy fix as we are skint but its the complete lack of effort from some of these players (who keep getting selected) that boils my piss. Desire, application and heart is the basic thing which should be on display every time a player goes on that pitch in our strip but no the manager cant even squeeze that out of them. Look at the difference today, their players bounced up from tackles and chased the ball, ours sat on their fat arses rolled about a bit then got back up and walked back into position. Its not fucking good enough.

I thought the cringe post match interviews were a thing of the past but Clement has even surpassed the Mole in the utter shite that comes dribbling out his mouth. And how many times do we need to hear about Club Brugge. He isnt at Brugge he is here and its clear he is massively out of his depth. Maybe next time when he references Brugge a press member can ask for his thoughts on how he did at Monaco...

Bro they have Liam Scales and Taylor playing.

37 year old fat as fuck keeper

They got lucky in a few signings while blowing plenty cash on shite too.

lets not kid on they have a great team.

money will go to shareholders and they will spend only what they sell.

just way better at it than us as we girfted them years of champions league...that is all about to go. They will have to downsize too.

Been torn apart by euro minnows.

Anyway.

Decent manager , smarter in the transfer market, understand scottish football and we can win this pish league.

Squad is pish, team on the park is pish, manager talks too much and delivers too little, Team has zero leadership. Gio should have been given time to turn things round and instead was binned the second he had a wobble. Board should take most of the responsibility for the mess, but we need someone in that can instill some actual passion to the team. The team today chucked it once the first goal went in.

Oh and forgot to add, Tav is past it, he's a legend but he's past it, may as well be playing with 10 men when he's on the park.
