Popular Post simplythebest 11,453
We still have to see what the whole season brings but for now that game has ended the optimism that was built up this season for me Theres been disappointments already with the away form but there's been good reason to still have an overall optimistic feel with our home form and the European run A game like today with a trophy in sight against a team that has finished above us for two seasons but has been in decline this season was a real opportunity to showcase the improvement that we've all been excited about however. That we went and bottled it maybe shows we haven't made anywhere near as much progress from the dark days as we've been hoping. Gutted doesn't begin to describe it and i don't know what to expect going forward now laudrupno1, Bighouse, BridgeIsBlue and 15 others

Popular Post To Be A Ranger 4,032
A bit of realism has hit home. We still lack a class midfielder and forward. gersandy 594
My optimism was gone when 2 Liverpool under 19 loanees are first pick and we loan another guy from notts Forrest reserves. What is Gerrards remit here? Develop young players for Liverpool? Or build a team that down bottle it in the games that matter, getting to finals and having a shot at success. bgally, Terry Hurlock Loyal and The No.9

Winning a senior trophy for the first time since 2011 surely counts as a priority as well and we had a great chance with this, could have really helped league momentum as well Bears r us, Mr Soprano, Tiger Shaw and 3 others

orange&blue92 1,284
Just shows how valuable Morelos really is, his hold up play and bringing people into the game is in valuable. JCDBigBear
ShanksRFC 3,870
We are in dire needs of a creative midfielder and we badly missed Morelos today. We were flat as fuck. European run has papered over a number of cracks this season. If we hadn't held on against UFA a lot more questions would be getting asked. We are already playing catch up in the league, the Tims are looking more confident by the week. JCDBigBear and BlueAvenger

Amac9 2,060
Do people genuinely believe we will mount a challenge for the title? I just don't see us beating celtc anytime we play them and our away form is atrocious. We are incapable of going on a winning run and now the filth are getting into gear we'll be languishing once again come New Year. ritchieshearercaldow, Kaydubya11, BlueAvenger and 1 other
standup 829
Will the sheep playing the same way with same players beat the beasts in the final, Nope. We have a long way to go, maybe a big name rookie manager wasnt a good idea in a football sense, business sense brilliant. As the OP says optimism wains, not going to expect anything now, just see how it goes.
