I know many had doubts (including myself) as to if he was captain material. Still a long way to go this season but starting to change my mind. Grew into the game and showed character, leadership and quality with some great balls, surging runs and defending. I thought he was a really good. Just one of those players I think. All in all I would say I am pro tav, think his attributes outweigh his shortcomings. Unless another player stands out as a captain on and off the pitch I also reckon he deserves the armband. I think that's good - and how many times this season have we said "tavs defending is gash"? not many... and defenders dont seem to be targetting him quite the way they were.
