Hi Jurgen, struggling to beat Hearts and Kilmarnock pal. Any ideas?

What is a Kilmarnock Stevie!

No you’re right, there’s absolutely no transferable skills between managing Rangers Football Club and managing Liverpool Football Club. You don’t start small and improve, you just take over the best team in the world. Good post.

Let’s wait until the end of the season before we start thinking about how many points etc. No point whatsoever arguing about it now.

Why not, he's been fucked out of all domestic competitions and its still winter ffs, for us to even get close in the league race it would take a collapse from them thats twice as worse as oirs has been, as we wont win every game now,

Gerrard has only beaten the sheep twice since coming here, his record against some of the others is verging on sackable as well

The Rangers equivalent of North Korean news.

Still has a mass of fans who's views on most things vary, contrary to the belief of some here. Including on Gerrard.

Regardless, if there's any genuine evidence that a majority of fans want him out we're all ears. A final whistle reaction or 40 angry guys out of numerous hundreds leaving a ground isn't it.

Jurgen Klopp hasn’t the first fucking idea what Rangers face in this country and the unique demands of this league.

Walter, Souness, Eck yes.

Of course we are.

I’m in the minority here and don’t really care about 9/10 iar or whatever. I care about Rangers and Rangers being back able to compete every year for titles. We’re not there yet.

Chopping and changing managers will just continue to set us back, with new ideas, new players etc. Don’t get me wrong, one might come along un the right circumstances and pull a title off (see Wim Jansen).

Of course, Gerrard has a lot of blame on his shoulders, recruitment, squad management, tactical inflexibility, in-game management therefore the onus is on him, and his wider circle, do recognise the mistakes and change them.

Yesterday was a watershed and I very much suspect (maybe more hope) that the recruitment takes an different approach in the summer. The likes of Morelos, Kamara, Tav and possibly a couple others simply have to be sold with the funds used to buy 4/5/6 players who know what it takes in terms of leadership/winners etc.

Most sensible post of the decade.

There’s been more than one poster who were at the game telling you the reaction.

if you’d rather listen to Follow Follow then bash on.

Just go and then leave when tav and goldsons names are read out in the starting 11 but for some reason aribo, edmunson are benched while katic is dropped from the matchday squad altogether as gerrard somehow blames him for Saturdays result

Theres opinion, counter opinion, then just made up shite.

You've nailed the last category there Jim.

Sensible is the last word to use towards a post which says they dont care about 10 in a row or want to give the manager 5+years.

It's OK, some are sure in maybe 2 or 3 years we might win something. Let's cling on to that when they stroll to 10 ripping the utter pish out of us

It's quite clear to me that the vast majority of bears do not want SG to go. They see the chaos that would ensue if he did , but they also see that Gerrard can be the man to sort  this out.

Hurting as we are, the sensible outcome is for Gerrard to fight on and sort things out in the summer.

Gerrard has to stay.  There’s nobody to replace him.  Everyone on here crying out for him to leave can’t come up with a name to replace him.  Before Gerrard came we we had Murty as manager and we’re getting knocked back by the likes of McInnes.

Under Gerrard we’ve improved greatly.  We’ve gone from first round knockout to Progress to the last 16.  We’ve gone from 4-0 and 5-0 thinking’s to bearing celtic as much as they beat us in the league.  We’re accumulating more league points.  We’re conceding half the amount of goals.  We even reached a domestic cup final that we dominated and only lost due to incompetent refereeing.

Gerrard has a massive job to do when he came in.  We’ve improved greatly since he’s cane in.  As long as we keep improving we need to stick with him.  There’s no viable alternative out there.  Walter Smith isn’t coming back FFS.

My thoughts right now.....ditch half the backroom team and bring in KT as assistant boss.

What has KT done to suggest he would be a good assistant boss?  Is it just because he’s a former player?  McCoist and David Weir we’re player legends but fucking shit coaches.  How do you know KT Isn’t another shite coach?

Jim’s also been bugging up Frimpong today because he can’t handle the idea that Tavernier is the best RB in the country.  Some of our fans really do take the biscuit.

Just feels to me like he'd be a great assistant manager.  I've amended my post to say I have nothing to back that up with. Just a gut feeling.
