Of course it's an advantage but IF we get through, we shouldn't fear either of those teams, respect them obviously but we are more than capable of getting results against them. Home or away

Obviously have to get past the Belgians first and wouldn't be surprised if that's a struggle, but it's great to think about going into a potential tie against Monaco or PSV for a place in the CL and believing we have a decent chance.

The last few years have to be our most consistent spell in Europe arguably ever, albeit difficult to compare given it's mainly been with a lower tier of opposition.

Bringing back CL memories from Advocaat era with mention of both PSV and Monaco.

Gio played in team that beat Van Nistelrooys PSV home and away I'm sure, and scored a belter away at Monaco.

In the past four years we’ve either beat, or would have beat if it was a knockout tie, teams like Villarreal, Porto, Feyernoord, Benfica, Dortmund & Leipzig. It won’t be easy, but if we get past the Belgian team we definitely have a chance.

Cup competitions do come down to the luck of the draw. Take care of the Belgians and the play off matches will take care of themselves.

Both those sides are an upgrade on Union but beatable. It's the 2nd leg away from home that gives me pause for thought.

I would have backed us against both these teams last season. But conceivably we will be far weaker than the squad that got the job done vs Dortmund, Leipzig etc. 

No Morelos, Kent, Roofe, Bassey, Aribo..

2 weeks time is a lot to ask to go with potentially a whole new front 4.
