Hardly surprising we were so shite in the stadium compared to our normal selves. Everyone knew what the stadium would be like, and how UEFA would manage the occasion before the game. The stadium is a shit hole and UEFA is UEFA, so how people were treated should have come as no surprise. It doesn’t make it right and so much of the planning and actions of those organising and enacting organisational directives would fail to stand scutiny in a UK court. But this was not the UK, this was Spain on a hot Spanish day. Shite organisation from UEFA has been going on for many years and this was no different, but everyone attending should have been prepared. I’m all ears as to how to be prepared for having no water in a stadium from 8-12 pm and in over 30 degree heat? What a load of utter utter shite I've seen Rangers play all over Europe including in some absolute backwaters/tiny grounds and never seen anything like that, how the fuck are people supposed to know that a stadium hosting a European final wouldn't provide water in that heat? I’ve seen Rangers in 9 different countries, I’ve seen us in shiteholes and some of the worlds best stadiums. Every single one of them have had kiosks open, they’ve sold juice and water, crisps and sometimes even weird as fuck snacks. But they’ve had that option. they didn’t sell out btw we stood for 40 minutes waiting on a kiosk we were being told was opening only to be told they weren’t opening it. We then broke into the kiosk and started to hand out the bottles of water and Fanta to the guys who were struggling the most. Took nearly 2 hours to get inside, standing crowded in the baking heat with my 10 year old son and they take our water off us at one of the checkpoints before getting inside. Get inside & there's only non alcoholic beer which my dehydrated son isn't gonna drink. No food either. Was a fucking disgrace. We were on the go since 6 & never got home for a drink till 1 as everything was shut. TEFTONG and mearns loyal

Popular Post TangoRomeo 51
I can't speak for others but I wasn't drunk for the game, had a maybe 4 pints between arriving in seville at 11am until about 3pm and then waters until 6pm when we made our way to the stadium. That's when I could no longer get water stuck in blockades of police - I sort of understand the logic of letting folk through in sections but a bit of a fuckin heads up/info would have been good on that. So from 6pm I couldn't get water. Managed to get 1 can of warm 0% Heineken at one bar just to get a drink in me. Other than that it was tap water until roughly the end of the 90. Just caught up on the sevilla statements/quotes and fuck me what a bunch of lying chunts. The taps did not come back on We were lucky to find an open bar outside the stadium on our route home and got 4 bottles of water for 20 euros. At that point I'd have paid anything for a bottle of water. Just glad i didnt get ill from the tap water. TangoRomeo 51
We had loads of tooled up police in beside us. All the way up the stand and loads in the concourse. We were mixed with Frankfurt fans which is probably why we had so many cops. Also means their fans in that's stand suffered exactly like we did.
