So Morleos, Roofe, Lawrence, Hagi, Davies, Souttar, Helander all unfit / injured now.

And host of players that just aren’t good enough.

Just what you want when you need a result away in an OF.

The injury situation is a real concern, players seem to get injured, then disappear for months, is it all bad luck, last day of August we've nearly got a full team of players out injured!

And all those players mentioned are going to take weeks to get up to speed when they eventually do come back. We are in a bad way - game after game coming thick and fast and the squad stretched to fuck already

Apparently Gio thinks we are fine though !!

No passengers.

Tillman i think might struggle with pace of the game.

Can impact the game but must be quicker and anticipate. We cannot loose the ball most importantly in possesion!

Think you’re right about Tillman - lovely player but they’ll play at an intensity that’ll  overrun him.

To be fair what he says publicly isn’t necessarily what he’s thinking

Terrible lineup and the answer is no

Remind me what players you picked?

That was my preferred team. It is now

McLaughlin

Tav Goldson Sands Barisic

Lundstram Kamara

Arfield Tillman Kent

Colak.

What you have chosen will invite pressure on and is grim.

I wouldn't be surprised if this was the team tbh with Lawrence out.

Tillman is excellent and I get the point about his composure on the ball but he'll be targeted more than he was at PSV with him being our most creative player and less likely to win a free kick when they foul him at Parkhead.

That being said I'd still start him.

The best way to beat celtic is to attack them, the way teams play them in Europe,

I hope Gio takes this approach, but he loves to shore up defensively first. This means Lundstram is essentially in a back 5 and at least one other DM.

Their defence is overhyped imo. Get on the front foot.

Its hard to say how this one will pan out. They are flying right now but the reality is they have not been tested this year. We are the only team domestically who can lay a glove on them. I have no doubt we can cause issues for their defence, which never looks clever but there is also no doubt they have players that can hurt us. They have looked great going forward this season. We have a lot of injuries but the only real miss is Lawrence as none of the rest have really featured all season anyway. Normally you'd worry about not having Morelos but Colak is bang in form so provided he gets service he can damage them. I think it will come down to the midfield and who wins that battle. We are going to have to be strong but also move the ball quickly. We will not do them with sluggish movement and sideways passing.
