Popular Post TEFTONG 60,131
The Miller and Brand partnership was one my Grandad used to wax lyrical about. When we had McCoist and Hateley he said they were good but not quite to the M&B standards he loved. Rest Easy Sir BlueAvenger, Helmutschone, ayrshireranger and 7 others

His favourite being Slim Jim.
docspiderman 1,228
R.I.P Jimmy, fantastic player, a true legend and a lovely humble guy. I was at a Rangers Dinner a number of years ago and he was at our table, honest interesting man who had no airs or graces and was great company. MurrayWilson 3,393
RIP. Never saw Jimmy play, way before my time. A lot of older supporters thought he was the best centre forward we ever had. I remember being in a bar on paisley road one matchday and the barman was arguing with an old boy about Rangers greatest ever goalscorer. The barman was arguing for Ally McCoist, the old lad was going for Jimmy Millar. I had no idea who the old lad was until when he went to the toilet the barman told me he was jimmy smith, one our greatest ever goalscorers. So Jimmy Millar mustve been some player. ayrshireranger and Redmond7

ronniescu 2,977
Sad news, as aways. Loved that whole era even though I was pretty young. I think my first game was about 1958 and it might have been Max Murray or Don Kichenbrand who was playng centre forward rather than Jimmy.
