Lundstram and Sterling

Thought both of the were outstanding, they both strived off each other. Would start them on Sunday, firts time we have looked strong in the middle of the park.

I've been really impressed with Sterling in that midfield role. It isn't has natural position but he's been asked to do it twice, isn't sulking about it, and is doing really well.

JL has quietely been going about his business for a few months now.

Sterling is a Walter player. Looks dependable, can play in a few positions and will fit right into big games.

With the athleticism that Sterling has. You’d feel a lot more comfortable having Tav bomb forward.

We’re used to watching Jack running like he’s on sand. But Sterling was everywhere filling in holes.

Interesting to see if Sterling can push for a starting place. Cifu had arguably his best 45 and Lundstrum was back to his best

Sterling looks like he could run for days, I like him. I'm guessing we'll see a lot more of him. Jacks done unless your playing Livi at home. Technically he's probably better but no good if he's 10m past ya.

It’s interesting that when we signed Butland and Sterling, most Stoke fans seemed to rate Sterling significantly higher. 
 

I think we’re starting to see his ability shine through after a tough start with injuries and a team not playing well.

Was brilliant at the weekend, and class tonight.

Wasn’t too excited about him when he filled in at LB, but looks like he could be a player in a ‘box to box’ role.

Amazing how players get better with a run of games if they have some ability to start with.Always been a good player like Sima and Matondo when played correctly and filled with confidance
