I think I like him. Seems excellent technically, quick feet and loves a tackle. Covered a lot of ground today. 
 

keeps improving like that and he’ll do well in that midfield.

He is an excellent player. Tbh, Lundstram has been playing well but I would have Dowell ahead of him every day of the week. Some of his passing is fantastic.

Not a fucking chance. Lundstram is a huge blow if he doesn't make it for next week. I don't think he will.

Different style of players so play both IMO.

No even close to replacing what Lundstram does however the work Lundstram does could free dowell up beside him and allow him to play.

It’s more Dowell replacing Raskin and Sterling for Lundstram……

 

Sterling certainly has a lot of attributes that Lundstram doesn’t have and in time (if he/manager decides to remain a CM) could well be the ideal replacement for Lundstram……

Technically very good on the ball, has a good eye for a pass and can contribute with goals as well. Like 75% of the squad, he just needs to stay fit and we will have an excellent player on our hands.

Good game today , as did Sterling against Betis . Neither as good as Lundstrum has been lately , but their performances has made the impact of missing Lundstrum a lot less than it could have been .

He has been mediocre so far, but hasn't had many minutes.. Hardly made a mistake and looked really assured today.

Hope that gives him the confidence to strive on to greater things.

Easy to say now, I know, but I had a good feeling about him during pre season.  He’s proving to be a good asset.  Only good thing about this injury crisis is that the ‘fringe’ players are stepping up and showing that PC’s simple game plan and instructions can be implemented by most of the squad.   We’ll be in a good place post Winter break.

Think Clement is similar to Walter in that he seems to make every player feel important. 

The amount of guys we have coming in from the fringe and giving 100% and performing is the same as it was under Smith.

Haven't seen much of him for years. Mate who's a Forest fan had him on loan when he was an England Unders international and raved about him at 19 or whatever in the Championship.

Thought he showed signs of real class today. Never rushed a pass and has fantastic awareness and feet.

Add to that he is a genuine goal threat.

I think he could be a really good addition to the squad.

i liked the look of him against St Johnstone midweek. He can pick a pass or two and is the kind of player that should be able to do enough against 6 or 7 teams in the league.

Only thing that kinda annoyed me on Wednesday night, was that he was very one footed and everything had to go via his left foot. Got caught out a couple of times due to it.

Played with England at every level. Yet to get his full cap though

Tidy player with some good vision and technique (although a bit one footed). Did well midweek and today.

He’s not a centre mid though. More of an attacking mid like Lammers, Lawrence etc. Different skill set needed to take the ball under pressure, dictate attacks and tempo.

Big test for him if he starts next week

Said from the word go the lads a player. Also said pre match it was time for him to take his chance under big Phil and that he did. I hope that’s his injury woes behind him and he now gets a run to drive us to 56 this season 👏👏

Rab he’s been a “holding mid” with previous clubs. I can see him taking Lundstram on

He should be an asset at Parkhead with his calmness on the ball, yes he will get caught the ball a couple of times, but overall we need someone like Kamara that can get out of tight situations.
