Ibrox Development

Recommended Posts

Thing is although everybody is posting pictures of the outside of the stand, most of the work left to do is inside, lifts to be fitted tested and signed off, the same with fire alarms Etc, they have a lot to do to get the safety certificate and are ready to go!

Just received ticket via email for Rangers Dundee on 21st September. Ticket shows venue as Ibrox rather than Hampden so looks like we're coming home.

Will season ticket smartcards work for this one, or do we actually have to use these QR codes that we're being sent? Anyone know?

I mean the email says Ibrox and everyone has been told its Ibrox

And the email advertising tickets says its QR codes so why would your smartcard activate?

Great view, excellent facilities and shelter from the elements, great for the Four Wheel Loyal and of course long overdue, just a pity about the massive clusterfuck of a construction process that has caused so much disruption and probably/definitely had a massive contribution to our performance in the return leg against Kiev, the effect and financial cost of which we are all well too aware of.

What I will say is, that area under the cantilever looks as though it could be a bit of a sound trap, could get quite loud in there.

Castore will be on the case and setup a stand to buy Castore branded ear defenders.

Apart from that great section for our supporters with disabilities. Night and day compared to the shite they had to endure before.

They better no moan about flags and tifo though 🤣

Think the UB had to agree not to wave flags during the game to get the section. Could be wrong, never am though

Aye mate sure there was an agreement about this, not sure how long the lads will stick to it though and what the club will do to enforce it.

Think there might be issues when they do full stand tifo before games and block peoples view of the teams walking out the tunnel lol cunts that didn’t want the UB to move there in the first place are going to complain about everything I think.

They’ll never stick to it.
