We should all realise that the club has always had difficulties offloading players because of the wages we pay to our deadwood and bang poor to average players. Clubs interested in our players cannot or will not match their wages and players are not interested in lowering their wages. Time and time again we see that there is little sign of business acumen in our player dealings now and in the past. I'm comfortable that eventually Clement will get the squad where it needs to be, but we are now at a point where we need to invest time and be patient that it's not going to be turned around overnight. The board and that moley fuck beale has screwed us, but we now need to be patient and back the long term plan. Clement seems to have been guaranteed time due to the boards failing. Every year of scum dominance makes the gap wider. But spending cash on vanity projects & nice to haves seems to be the way we want to go, so that some nebulous increase in turnover in 3 years will help us defeat the FFP monster.
