Can’t say I ever listen to the cunt, but if Rodgers does say ‘good lad’ to male reporters, and there’s been no outcry over it, I don’t see the problem with ‘good girl’.

I think it has been blown out of proportion a bit too but fuck them , it couldn't have happened to a better prick and they are an organisation and fan base who thrive on faux offence when the chance arises so a bit of their own medicine

For what it's worth in today's society of words and phrases and how they could be interpreted and picked up wrong , on your point I would say a high up or senior male using "good girl" in the weird and patronising tone he did to a female colleague or client etc probably has a bit more historical baggage than good lad. Which has caused the controversy

Does it impact the following weeks game? Would the Ibrox game move to a Tuesday or Wednesday aswell?

No that would stay the Thursday or at least it did V braga in 2020 . As far as I know it's just if two teams from same city or general area both end up with a home tie on the same night

If one is seeded and on unseeded then it's easily avoidable but both are unseeded so both their home ties will fall on the second leg

It's a UEFA rule where you can't have 2 matches taking place within a certain distance from each other, its 20 or 30 miles, something like that. Therefore the 2 Lisbon clubs can't both play at home in Europe on the same night

Was thinking it could be possible here if us and them both topped our group or both ended up seeded...

Then I stopped myself after some hysterical laughing . Celtic in Europe after Christmas

I still have no idea what the OP is on about. Why would the fixture have its day changed for that reason? I can’t even find anything relating to it online

The same thing happened in 2020 when we played Braga away to be fair

We played them on the Wednesday because Porto were at home on the Thursday

It’s got to the stage where I’m blaming him for how shite we were under Gerrard in 3 out of 4 seasons.

The loss to Celtic at the start of this season had a lot of similarities with the loss to Celtic at Ibrox the first old firm game of 19-20 season

Think looking back now in hindsight it probably the case Gerrard might have allowed and listened too much to Beales pish going into that game as it was the only game against Celtic under Gerrard where we were flat as fuck against them and the line up was strange as fuck

We've all seen this in football many times before. They are in freefall with an unrepairable disconnect between the players and the manager. Rodgers at Leicester, for example. They aren't going to start clicking this season. Last 5 games, 1 nil at home to Ross County. Booed off the park. Partick had taken 3 off RC the week before in Dingwall and Motherwell took 5 off them the following midweek. 1-1 Aberdeen. A deflected equaliser and Aberdeen passed up 2 great chances to win it. 2-1 Hibs. Both goals penalties and Hibs roasted them in the second half. A laboured 2 nil over St Mirren in the cup then 1-1 Killie at home. Booed off the park. Gregg Taylor says they had a "crisis meeting" after the game on Saturday. Yip that will fix it Gregg. If things don't change with them, they will drop more points than us over the last 12 games.

We are now in the position where we just have to worry about ourself. Anything they fuck up is now a bonus.

Just thinking back to the title races of the 2000s is enough for me to keep wary that as rosy as all is looking now it can change quickly. Clement has experience of winning tight titles in Belgium so I think he knows the importance of not letting the squad get to far ahead of itself just now and certainly doesn't seem to be any sign of it

Tbf to the boss, didn't he knock back another team for us? Maybe he does see us somewhere to stay for a while. Would be nice to have a manager for good length of time rather than this revolving door we've had for the past decade.

I hope so too and it would be good if that was his desire . Just feel as a relatively young coach his ambitions will quite rightly be the English Premier league at some point . Hopefully with a few titles and trophies in the bag from his time up here though before he does

Imperative we keep Clement for three or four years, if we can we could open up a gap not just in quality but mentality.

It would be ideal but in today's modern game I'm not expecting him to be with us that long term unfortunately . Especially if consistent success is delivered and some noticeable progress made in Europe. Then it would only be a waiting game of the premiership coming calling as usual

If he delivers a title or two and doesn't leave us in the lurch half way through a season then I will be happy and wish him all the best

How can they honestly still think they're being cheated?

It's their go to and comfort blanket

They have had it good but in a weird way they are reverting to back where they naturally belong , looking up and complaining about the made up injustices in their mind about the Big Bad Rangers. In a weird way some of the mental cunts are deep down probably looking forward to it as it's all they ever really knew and it's where they are most comfortable

    Matchday 32.

Likely play them just a couple of weeks later to in the early rounds after rhe split.

    A season defining few weeks.

Good chance of a Hampden tie with them at some point too in amongst it all

    Rodgers is cracking under pressure.

he said they were never 7 clear but a mere 5. He forgets they went 10 ahead when they beat kilie 3 - 1 and we had st mirren the Sunday.

    that took it to 7

our two games in hand didn’t come till getting to the cup final and Ross county bus getting stuck in December.

    mongo tarrier tramp

Before a ball was even kicked the fanny was telling all 12 folk who turned up for his uneviling he would see them on the Celtic way in May.

  12. Things are without doubt in a much better place under the current manager and we are moving in the right direction

I do agree however that upfront is my biggest concern. Hopefully it proves not to be as big an issue as I think it is . Right now I'm still confident we can win the title as we are but wary , if we had recruited a new reliable forward or even if by some miracle had a fit and reliable Kemar Roofe I would currently be sticking the savings on 56 this May

  13. Think the issue will be unfortunately Livingston just won't be good enough. Cup game so you never know there is always that slight glimmer of hope but don't see it

We can just keep the beasts for our quadruple clinching day in May at Hampden :pipe:

Think im being a mongo but a samaras ? Closest i could think to that would be the commons - fitter , stronger shite

Samaras came out with similar during the run in in 2009 that Celtic were the better footballing side and Rangers didn't deserve the title

Novo then gave a few interviews and a few wee renditions of haha Samaras in the days after we won it

    On another note

Brown was desperate to get a reception at Ibrox today similar to what Lennon used to get

The UB sang one chant telling him he's a wanker about an hour in and that was it
