An absolute privilege to have watched the man in the flesh also met him in strathclyde park as a  whipper snapper.

magician.

Funnily enough so did I, turned out he was a distant relative to my dad and my dad knew him well, I was a kid then too and i didn't know that at the time.

Hopefully the next few days will lead us into a successful phase in returning  to our glory days.

Talking my two young kids tonight (both of whom have only known the tough times) they asked me my favourite 3 Rangers players ever.

2 of the 3 world class players I saw included Gazza and Laudrup. They didn't really know about Davie Cooper, I showed them this, and they said he was a Rangers Messi ?.

It ain't easy watching us these days, but enjoy, and think about the good times as hopefully they come round again soon enough....

Watched this earlier today and seeing it reminded me of just how good he really was, what a big loss to us and the world.  😭

Alex MacDonald, Tam Forsyth, Sandy Jardine, Tommy McLean, Colin Jackson, Dave Smith and Davie Cooper. All my favourite Rangers players, not just cause they were great players but because they endorsed the spirit of the teamwork, and represented themselves  and  club in a gentlemanly manner at all times.

Proper Gers heroes

That reverse pass to Durrant in 86 against the taigs is still the greatest thing I’ve ever seen on a football pitch.  It was sublime, and so was he.

That was on my late father's 60th birthday. Him and I sat in what is now the Sandy Jardine stand. Remember it like it was yesterday. Youung bears must trust that these great days will return.
