Because McGuigan his old manager told him not to go on about it too much.

Hes since sacked him and now he FTP tattooed across his knuckles.

Good glad he's not letting them Fenian bastards hold him down anymore!!

Him and McGregor should have a boxing match on the Irish border somewhere.

Just have a makeshift arena as it'll probably be burnt down anyway

I’d like to see a celebrity fan grudge match between him and Rod Stewart.

Nice to see.

Since he pied McGuigan he's clearly wanted to display his colours more than he was able to before.

Would still love him even if he wasn't Rangers. Terrific fighter. ?

Brilliant fighter, have been to loads of his fights, went to the Quigg one in Manchester, and got two tickets for the warrington one in Manchester dec 22.

Went to the quit in Manchester aswell. Some absolute loyalist sing songs going on in the pubs before it.

Surely to fuck anyone from Belfast knowing he is from tigers bay would know where his allegiance lies?

Never ever hid his loyalist allegiances.  Would like to see him lead the line for us in the SPFL, his unique talents would be suited to the likes of Motherwell or the Sheep

Awesome didn't know he was a fan.

He kept it quiet when he was with the McGuigans, as they were trying to promote him as an inverse of Barry - Protestant married to a Catholic whereas with Barry it was the other way around - so they had him avoid topics like the Old Firm and unionism. Over the last year he's openly tweeted about the walks on the 12th, Rangers and other topics that before he'd just subtly hint at.

One thing about Carl is that he is not a bigot and genuinely unites Belfast. He does not shy away from his loyalist roots but his closest friend is Paddy Barnes who is from a republican background. He is married to a catholic and is seen as a symbol of a new Northern Ireland were people have to believe in a shared space and a respect for both cultures for the future of our kids and grandkids

More power to his elbow.

The way it should be. Embrace your own culture, respect others.
