Can't beat a good old Celt*c meltdown on a Friday.  The kiss blowing incident was awful but we litterely just got on with it after our statement.  They have been bottling this rage up for days now (to a certain satisfaction might I add) and to vent that frustration they are now looking to attack the one referee who has cost us more points than prevented.

It's ironic they have gotten away with so many incidents over the past 18 months yet they choose the one game where they lost so much momentum to make a fuss.

They are not only in meltdown but they are terrified.  I am glad our club is proactively fueling that with guys like Defoe and Davis.

Are we still light years behind the invincibles?

celtic Football Club is surprised that there will be no disciplinary action taken by the Scottish FA regarding the incidents during the match on December 29, which have been widely addressed in the media.

It is reported that no action was taken because the match referee saw all of the incidents in question.

Given that the referee took no action at the time, this tends to suggest that such conduct, which in one instance led to a celtic player, Anthony Ralston, being injured, is acceptable in Scottish football. That cannot be right.

On the day, celtic did not play well enough to win the match, something we accept. However, this issue goes beyond the result of the match.

celtic is not the only club this season to raise concerns regarding the standard of officiating at matches in Scotland, concerns which have also been shared by many commentators on the game.

In order to fully understand what is going on, celtic, our supporters, Scottish clubs and the general Scottish football public need transparency in these matters, and we therefore call on the Scottish FA to allow the referee, John Beaton, to explain these decisions publicly as well as any match officials involved in other similar circumstances.

In the meantime, we have requested a meeting with Scottish FA Chief Executive, Ian Maxwell, and the Association's Head of Refereeing.

That part in bold just blows their argument right out of the water, and renders their argument false, caught in a lie surprise surprise, if you're going to issue a statement then get your facts correct you fenian bastards, ralston got a dunt from morelos, rolled around a little then realized his scummy team were getting beat and got right back up on his feet, no physio brought on to treat any "injury", might have got a scratch on his side but FFS an injury, really, fuck off you cunts, and as for christie getting his balls tickled, FFS Bates got punched in his last season and no yellow, so I guess we could call that a level of refereeing consistency at least

It's not cheating if you wear the green and grey. They invented sporting integrity remember. The self- appointed spokesmen for Scottish football have spoken and refs will be hounded until they tow the party line.

They really are a deluded lot. Their statement only goes to show they have the fear and makes them a laughing stock.

Unfortunately it worked for them the last time , the pressure they applied ensured we'd have to play a ridiculous amount of games in the last 8 days of the season.

Absolutely nothing to do with sporting integrity, everything to do with them gaining an unsporting advantage.

With this season being tight again expect every dirty trick in the book.

Trying to rewrite the rulebook and claiming unsporting advantage has won them lots of silverware mate. Caused our great Club years of pain too.

I honestly think we can overcome their cheating this year and grab 55. SG can develop this team into history makers. Tell you what, they clearly think that too or they wouldn't have made all this fuss about a young footballer giving cunts it back as hard as he gets.

They are pathetic both on and off the park. SG has the tranny sussed out after two games mate. Not bad for a rookie manager who was born in a council estate.

Rangers should complain about them inferring that they are speaking on behalf of all Scottish clubs. I wonder if they handed the letter to mr. liewell and saved the postage?

The man's a right clown mate ..... yet I doubt any circus in the world would employ him .... still I hope he stays around for 55 ... just to see him break into tears live on TV.

Now that would bring the house down ..... :p:

:UK:

The NHS will go into melt down along with the tramps.
The amount of medication this lot will need when we reach 55 will smash the health bill.
The ones left supporting them will have to hold on to each others coat tails to shuffle out to the big empty glitter dome.
Hope they kept the banners of fans painted on them for the top tiers,as they will need them.
Actually think that Alfredo Morrelos tapping Christies haw maws,is the least of their worries.
