If Makaay was saying be more confident, add some flair and creativity to your game people would also say it was great. 

There’s absolutely nothing to read into there. They will be judged on the pitch in the coming months

I don't think it is surprising that after what we all watched on Sunday that the first wee clip of one of our new coaches saying what he did is greeted with some delight.

We all know it means fuck all if we do not start playing better and winning games but after the clusterfuck of Sunday we need something to make us hope things might get better.

One of my biggest frustrations mainly comes from Kent and Arbil when we’re toiling In a game and they’re fucking about making a cunt of step overs. That type of play is a luxury when your up a few goals or you know you can win on a consistent basis which we haven’t done all season looks like they’re taking it back to basics

They have maybe looked at the season so far and decided that back to basics for the time being is probably the best thing for a team that continuously finds itself a goal or two behind every game 

start doing simple things well and consistently and the rest will follow 

either that or it was just a meaningless throwaway line that gets said regularly day to day on a training pitch
