Hot Headed Morelos

Blue Viking

Recommended Posts

He has the talent to play in any league on the planet, has a year left on his contract and is 26 now so in his prime years. Yet not one club has made a serious bid for him. Anyone defending him ask why that is?

Good on Gio, hope we never see him in a Rangers shirt again.

Considering Morelos was the only reason we got into the groups, and then scored the goals that took us through the groups then Iā€™d say he carried us in Europe

There's been several top performers in Europe, none moreso than Tav

McGregor, Bassey, Golson, Balogun, Lundstram, Aribo, Kent, Kamara have all been excellent at times as has Alfredo but he's not carried us ffs

Every stupid thing like this he does lowers his value. Everybody is saying get rid but would we even get Ā£10m for him now?

I think you would get 10 million.

Board and ross wilson will have to sound out a very good replacement but need to act fast if there wanting morelos away.Ā

The fact Gerrard hasnā€™t offered for him is tellingĀ

It wasn't a comparison between the two (or the merits of) just that PLG's whole time is remembered largely by that one incident and I get the feeling that, long-term, this will end up being the big turning point in GVB's time.Ā

I would think GVBs time would be remembered getting us to a Europa League final rather than excluding a petulant man child from the squad.

Not last season in the groups they werenā€™t.Ā

Doesnā€™t work like that though. If clubs are unsuccessful then the manager carries the can.

Last season in SPl was nothing short of a disgrace.

I get that he gets the blame but the players were fucking rotten for the majority of the season domestically.

You're really not very good at using Twitter, are you? He responded to someone elses tweet saying Morelos was 'fat as a barrell' was utter drivel, using the pic in my tweet to further emphasise that.

Doesn't look fat there. But he's got his hands up which stretches his torso and he's got his chin up, so his neck doesn't look fat.

But in this pic from Saturday, he's a bit chunky- not as fat as a barrel obv. You can make out the waistband of his shorts where his belly sticks out a bitĀ

PS- tune in next week for more appearance and fashion tipsĀ  ;-)

Was he not linked with Lille for about Ā£16m?

Whatever's brought Gio and his team (backed by the senior pros) to the point where they'd rather face a game of this significance without Alfredo anywhere near them is obviously something significant.

Turned up worse for wear? Dressing room bust up?Ā

Who knows

The truth will out in the days ahead but I'd be stunned if he ever pulled the famous shirt on again.

His loss, move him on and get him replaced

Let us down today regardless of how u view it - Gave Collum a decision to make.

Anyhow heā€™s massively overweight and clearly shows heā€™s not looked after himself during the summer/lay off

Today should have been a marker for Wednesday for him - Put a case forward for playing and showing GVB he was wrong not the throw him on against PSV at Ibroxā€¦

Love Alfie but he needed to be much better and professional today - Still not signed his contract and today wonā€™t endear him to the coaches or his fellow teammatesĀ

Called it on Saturday that his antics wouldnā€™t have gone down well with his team mates and even the coaches.

That being said Iā€™m surprised that on the eve of one of our biggest games in years that he wonā€™t be included or even an option off the bench when we might need a goal.

With such a short period left on his contract it wouldnā€™t surprise me if this is the beginning of the end tbh - Canā€™t see him taking it on the chin and knuckling down and canā€™t see the club softening after taking this stance - Such a shame
