Losing more than that merits deeper investigation. Helander, Goldson, Souttar, Hagi and now Lawrence out for month after month after month. Others like Jack, Roofe and Davies seem unable to play more than two or three matches before breaking down again. There is something very wrong with our sports science and medical teams and questions need to be asked and answered. We are paying huge sums in wages with nothing to show for it and we can’t get rid of them until they’re fit. And because we can’t offload then, we can’t replace them. Simply not good enough.
